What does this version smell like?

It really doesn't have a discernible scent.

Is this cream noncomedogenic? Some people state that it breaks their face out?

Non comedogenic isn’t really a thing. It’s a good indication that a product likely won’t break you out but literally anything can break people out. This does have an essential oil in it which would be my guess as to why it’s breaking people out and/or causing irritation.
