Love this for our homeschool! Heats well, and in no time! Just make sure you feed the enclosed side of pouch in first, you will get perfect results every single time! I almost spent $50 on a laminator that was name brand and I am so glad I spent half of that amount and went with this. It doesn’t feel cheap, the size is not bulky at all, so easy to store. It looks sleek and nice, and pairs perfectly with the Amazon laminating pouches. Has a button for 3 or 5 mil sheets, I’ve only ever used 3mil with this so I cannot speak on the 5 mil. If you’re looking to laminate for your personal use, class room or like us, homeschool; get this product! You won’t regret it!

I picked up this laminator mainly for our homeschool materials, and it has been working really well. It has a compact design that doesn’t take up much space on my desk, yet it’s large enough to handle letter-size sheets with no problem. The machine heats up quickly, like 1min. feeds the pouches smoothly, and I’ve had no jams so far. The laminated pages come out clear with a nice, clean finish, making worksheets, flashcards, and reusable learning materials much more durable. It’s also quiet while running and very simple to use, even if you’ve never owned a laminator before. (This is my first one) The build quality feels solid for the price, and it has been reliable after multiple projects. If you’re looking for an affordable laminator for home, school, or occasional office use, this one is a great choice and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Include two sheets for test.

I just received it and tested it out. I also used it today for a small project at home. Purchased so that I can avoid going to office supply stores to do projects that I can do myself. Cost effective. Heats up in a couple minutes. Quiet machine. Compact in size but gets the job done. So far only laminated 5 to 10 pages at a time. Totally leased with finished product.

I’ve been using this mainly for laminating kids’ materials, and it’s been reliable so far. It warms up in just a few minutes and runs quietly. I haven’t experienced any jams, and the seal quality has been consistently solid with no bubbling. It’s not especially fast, but for home use it’s more than adequate. The one thing to watch is how you feed the laminating sheet. If you insert it from the open edge instead of the sealed edge, it can bunch up and require clearing. Once you know that, it’s easy to avoid. Overall, a dependable laminator for everyday home use.

Easy to use, fit thicker papers and stuff through it, I was pretty impressed cause I used it to make some christmas decor and I didnt think it would work. It hardly takes up any space too!

This is my second at home laminating machine. I actually prefer this to my first one. It heats up quickly and is so easy to use. There’s no confusing buttons or anything to make it difficult. It is small enough to tuck away out of sight. Everything I’ve laminated has been so good quality and have never had an issue with a paper and page not adhering as it should. I like that it gives you options for thickness of the papers for something that might need a little stronger laminate. Definitely worth the price of this over the name brand ones. Love it all around!

I laminate a lot for my business. I have been using an Amazon Basics laminator for about three years already, and it has served me well. I bought another one so that we can be laminating more items at a time. This new design looks cool, and I was excited that it might just be faster or overall better in how it laminates. The 2025 version is no faster than the 2022 version, which is fine. Running two laminators is still better than waiting on a single machine for all pages. Unfortunately, the 2025 version has a huge design flaw: The way that the machine is built, it points your laminated paper downward. So your paper pushes into your table/surface, and then curves when it cannot go down anymore. While that doesn't sound like a big deal, the laminated paper is still hot and pliable at that point. So it goes downward then bends/curves back. The laminated paper then begins to cool quickly, which 'sets' its form/shape. The curve becomes permanent. I tried several different strategies to bypass this problem, but nothing worked. The new/2025 version just releases the paper without anything to keep the paper flat, for those first few seconds while it is super pliable/bendable. The old/2022 version had a ledge, so to speak, that kept your paper flat for a few seconds, so that it didn't develop a curve. I use pouches from a different company because they are made better, and usually do the 5 mil heat setting for 3 mil pouches on cardstock, because it tends to hold better. While the heat is sufficient to bind to the paper, the machine's design causes the laminated item to have a curve. So I sent the new laminator back, and am going to try and find a second machine to buy from the former design.

La máquina llegó en perfecto estado y en tiemp👌🏼 10/10. Fue súper fácil su instalación ya que es muy intuitiva, y el instructivo muy bien. Funciona de maravilla, solo la he probando con micas de 3 mm, sin embargo aguanta para micas de 5 mm. Calienta súper rápido y el ruido que hace es muy mínimo. El diseño está muy bonito 😍. La utilizo para mi hobby de encuadernadora, para ponerle laminado soft touch a las portadas que imprimo y quedan muy bien, solo en una ocasión la cajetee pero fue porque no supe usarla y se pego arrugado el laminado, después ya lo puse bien y quedó perfecto. Es rápida, se calienta rápido y creo que funciona muy bien. Para su precio es una muy buena laminadora termal

Muy buen producto, no tarda en calentarse, el ruido que hace es mínimo, es práctica, no es pesada.
