I love this product - Mielle Organics Mongongo Oil Thermal & Heat Protectant Spray. I would just like to say that this product complements my haircare routine very nicely. Currently, I use a pre-wash conditioner, conditioning shampoo, and occasionally a light layer of conditioner. Using this product allows me to either air dry my hair or blow dry and have soft, pleasant smelling hair. The scent is kind of hard for me to describe, but it is not sweet or fruity, it's more of a flowery scent I believe. I haven't smelled anything quite like it, but it is among the nicest smelling products I've used so far. As I said, this can be used either air drying as a leave-in conditioner or before blow drying as a heat protectant. The product is not sticky at all - I sprayed some on my hand just now and it dried in less than a minute, completely! It also dries well in my hair too, but for context, I have highly porous hair that does not maintain moisture. This product reduces frizz significantly and at a very low cost - $6.30? That's actually amazing. I also repurchased shortly after receiving it when I saw how nice the scent was and how soft it left my hair feeling. This definitely competes with Marc Anthony's leave in, in my opinion. Marc Anthony's is in a similar price range, which is why I mention it. This spray by Mielle is more effective than the Marc Anthony one, for my hair, so I will keep repurchasing this. I also believe the longevity is decent - if used consistently, it will most likely last at least a month if you use it a few times a week like I do. I would highly recommend this product!

This heat protector smelled amazing and worked well on my hair. After a while the dye on the label started to bleed on my hands so I had to peel off the label.

It’s lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, and I love that it doesn’t leave a sticky residue like some other sprays I’ve tried. Plus, it smells really nice without being overpowering. What I appreciate most about the Mielle heat protectant is that it actually helps maintain my curl pattern. In the past, heat would loosen or mess up my curls, but this product seems to shield them from that damage. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can style my hair without completely wrecking it. I also like that it’s safe for all hair types, so I’ve even recommended it to a few friends with different textures. If you’ve got curly hair and want to protect it without sacrificing the health of your curls, this is definitely worth picking up.

After 1st use last night with flat iron, still smooth this morning (no wrap). Interested to see how it holds up in humidity. I am hoping the various forms of dimethicone shampoo out easily. Not easy finding a heat protectant with the 'good for your hair' ingredients & that also works properly --maybe this is the one!

Bought this for my daughters. The smell is good and a little goes a long way way.

I definitely think this product does its job, it's helped my hair to stay healthy before i blow dry it or use hot tools. However it leaves a sticky residue in my hair every time i use it and it makes my hair feel greasy and dirty. I would personally find a different brand of heat protectant if this is concerning to you. But like I said, it does its job.

Ich kann diesen Conditioner-Spray nur wärmstens empfehlen! Er hat mich während meines Urlaubs wirklich begeistert. Besonders in der trockenen und heißen Umgebung war er ein echter Lebensretter für meine Perücke. Der Spray macht die Haare unglaublich weich und geschmeidig, was das Durchkämmen zum Kinderspiel macht. Ich hatte nie das Gefühl, dass meine Perücke austrocknet oder frizzig wurde. Nach der Anwendung fühlten sich die Haare einfach toll an und sahen gesund aus. Definitiv ein Must-Have für alle, die ihre Perücke pflegen möchten!
