It was cheaper and works just as well as the original one that came with my scooter. It is also of the same quality as the name-brand cords.

Segway Max G3 electric scooter replacement plug for the 3x fast charging system
Works perfectly for my Segway Max G3 scooter. It's a good idea to get this as a backup for your max G3 scooter. The reason why I say this, is that in order to disconnect the charging cable from the scooter sometimes you have to wiggle it free, and that places stress on the cable, and I believe that one day because of the constant wiggling to detach it from the scooter, the cable will get frayed inside and stop giving the electrical current that the scooter needs. Always good to have a backup just in case
