This book is the last of the series. As I finished, I felt so empty and unwell! I cannot believe this series had such an impact on me as a reader. The series wrapped up well and Ana Huang is an amazing author. She always has me hooked with whatever she writes. I'm glad that even though the series can be read standalone, I still read them in order, which tugged at my emotions as I got to know each couple individually. As for the tome itself, I thought it was a masterpiece! The pacing was definitely taking its time, but i loved EVERY MINUTE of it as I am a sucker for slow AGONIZING burn love. Christian was a sloth but it's alright because once everything unraveled, it was worth it. I LOVEEE CHRISTIAN. HE IS THE STANDARD! He is a romantic, detailed-oriented, helpful, grumpy, ruthless, crazy, psycho, shrewd, intelligent, irrational, you name it. He is my DREAM book boyfriend. Don't even get me started on his suits, always adjusting cuff links and sleeves rolls, and yanking his ties (I melted every time). One of my favorite scenes was when Christian took her to his apartment and bathed her. He is such a gentleman it hurts. Also how he comforted Stella when he found her crumbled up under her sidetable because she was so frightened with the stalker. The scene almost made me tear up. Stella is one of the most delicate, royal, compassionate character. I think her character development was written really well. She went from this scared, demure, and a pleaser to confident and strong person (with Christian's help of course). Even though Christian is a psychopath, I was ravenous for him! He blew up someone's car because they smiled at him wrong and them stolen his parking spot. Especially when he was dealing with the stalker had me GAGGED! Or when he stabbed Stella's groper hand slowly and then spilled his $20k vintage wine on his ravaged wound, then shot the guy on his way out, GAGGEDD! His ruthlessness is so so sexy and fine. Especially when he puts on his "gloves." I love his obsession with Stella! This man lowered their rent with a "done," no debate needed. I love all the couples' friendships. They are a family and are always there to protect one another. It was beautiful how they try to make as much time with each other now that they're all grown. Alex's and Josh's cameos were funny. Josh was always saying/doing something inane to piss Christian and Alex off. Did I mention how HOT it was to see Christian and Alex play chess together? Drool!! I'm beaming with joy that Ava, Bridget, Jules, and Stella have found their love partners and deservedly so. Their bond is unbreakable. Congrats to Ava, Bridget, and Stella with the twin, daughter, and a pregnancy. Christian will EAT his words AGAIN as always for making fun of Rhys being a father (though certain kids really were obnoxious). Overall, this series is immaculate and perfect in every way. It is a must read AND as much as i hate to say this, but they definitely need to be read in order! P.S. Christian chipped away at me piece by piece. Christian has my heart, mind, and soul.

Excellent Conclusion to the Series
❈ “ Romantics didn’t look at someone like they wanted to devour them until there was nothing left except ashes and ecstasy. Darkness and submission.” ❈ 💚 Where to begin with twisted, lies by …. Oh wait, I know, I’ll start with the lusciously delectable Christian Harper. I knew this man was going to be a subject in the future books when he was so intriguing Lee teased in book 2. He was just too desirable, and even such a short, brief moment to not have his own story. I was quite happy when this theory came to fruition. 💚Twisted Lies is a grumpy/sunshine, fake, dating, close proximity, heart-aching slow burn, billionaire, spicy romance. I felt there was not as much spice as the other books, but this is definitely a kinky quality over quantity situation. ❈” I would never make it to heaven, but that didn’t matter as long as she ruled beside me in hell.“ 💚 Stella, our fabulous FMC won my heart. She is incredibly relatable. She is a woman driven by ambition combined with intermittent overwhelming anxiety. She struggles at times with insecurities and overbearing competitive family issues. Yet through it she develops methods that enable her to function and thrive. ❈” Once upon a time, I hadn’t believed in love. Now, I realized that love was the last piece that’d been missing in the puzzle of my life. With it, I was finally whole.“ Christian our viscously protective, unconditionally supportive, morally grey billionaire MMC is all we could hope for in a book boyfriend. He appears on the surface to be completely insensitive and cold hearted. But we come to find at his core, he finds himself unworthy of affection and happiness. ❈” But that was one of my favorite things about Christian . I could be who I was, and who I aspire to be an equal measure. I never had to worry when I was with him.” Christian and Stella’s mutual attraction and sexual tension was palpable . It was very satisfying as they grew together and learned to understand and support each others needs. 💚 This was a perfect conclusion to the twisted series. I adored the Twisted Universe and the Twisted men will forever be top of my book boyfriend list forever. I will never look at an art gallery, gazebo, supply closet, or waterfall the same way again.😮💨 ❈”Somehow, four strangers who had been randomly assigned to the same dorm room their freshman year of college had evolved into what we are now — a beautifully messy, perfectly imperfect family that’d gone through our shares of ups and downs but made it through to the other side.“

"You will always be my first, last, and only love."
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Just like how Christian Harper has ruined Stella Alonso for any other man, this Twisted series has ruined me for any other "I hate everyone but you" reads. Well, that is until Ana Huang releases her new series. Stella is riding the struggle bus. Her social media efforts have been stagnant -- which is a red flag for any influencer. The nursing home that is taking care of the one person she cares for the most just raised their prices. She feels like she is one misstep away from losing her job at D.C. Style. And now a dark secret from her past is coming back to breathe down her neck. Her only salvation: The mysterious cold-hearted man living in the penthouse of her apartment building. Christian Harper is an enigma. He looks at Stella with those unreadable eyes, and his moods are as mercurial as they come. When he agrees to be Stella's fake boyfriend -- the one ticket off her struggle bus -- Stella now wonders if this was her best or worst idea. Clearly, they can keep their emotions at bay, right? Ana Huang brings a brand new twist to her signature characters: an FMC who could bring the most impenetrable man to his knees and an MMC who would burn the world down for the one he loves. Stella is the ultimate sunshine character: she sees the best in others and loves so fiercely and unconditionally -- sometimes to the detriment of her own self-esteem. It is her brightness that brings Christian out from the dark. Despite his two enigmatic sides, both of them are clouded in an emotional void by design, but Stella's charisma and authenticity slowly break through his walls. And boy, was that fun to witness. This was the ultimate slow burn, but the path to THAT moment was oh-so-worth-it. Our boy Christian teases out the passion from sweet Stella and uncovers that she actually wants more of the kind of spice that he likes to offer. And deliver he does in spades. There are delicious layers of suspense that will keep you guessing, and the outcome is well worth the read alone. (But I am glad for the romance and spice, too.) This book closes out a fantastic series. Beloved characters from previous books do make up the wonderful ensemble cast in this read, and as someone who has been along with the entire ride, it was so satisfying and fun to see how their stories continue. If you are new to the Twisted universe, welcome, and don't fret. Ana Huang provides enough context for newbies to follow along nicely. Will I miss these wonderful fictional friends? Absolutely, but something tells me that we won't see the last of them in Ana's new series.

Beautiful book
Loved everything!! This book is my second favorite out of the series with Twisted Games taking the number one spot! The paced of the book is more of a slow pace rather than a medium pace. There were times where I wanted to just stop reading and add it to the DNF list, but I continue on and love every second of it. It didn't have that much smut in it like the other three books, but it still made the plot of the book even more interesting. Christian reminds me so much of Alex in ways. That they will literally die for their woman; very protective of them and just want to make them happy and safe in any shape or form. Now one thing I didn't like about Christian was how he kept the files on Stella instead of getting rid of them when she first came to the Mirage. I think that would've been better rather than her finding them and then thinking that he's her stalker. But at the end, Christian had my heart because he literally gave Stella the space that she needed in order to work through her emotions and thoughts. Even when he wanted to give in and just check he still kept his promise and let her have her space; now that was growth on his part and I loved him for that!!! Now Stella! Her character basically reminded me of ME! To her being shy and having anxiety. To always overthinking and not having enough confidence in herself. I literally go through the same things as her and some points of her life really made me open my eyes and see things from a different perspective. I understand Stella more on a deeper and personally level because I'm currently going to something like that in life now. And with reading this book it made me believe in myself a little more and start back on my passion. Just like how Stella is in love with fashion and created her own line; I want to do the same with my life! Seeing Stella grow from who she used to be in the beginning of the book to a more confident woman towards the end, with an husband is really amazing and I just love her and Christian story together. Altogether this book to me was enjoyable, hilarious on the parts were everybody was together, and an eye opener to who I can be if I just trust and have a little more confidence in myself. I may not have a partner like Christian, but when the time comes I hope they're somewhat like the twisted men in the books put together!!!

An anti hero book that has some troubling plot lines
I am a new Ana Huang reader and I love her flow with words. She writes no holds barred and makes a reasonable attempt to flesh out each of her characters. I read Twisted hate before this and loved it, and had very high expectation from this one. •SPOILER• Please tread carefully. It started well, and I figured Christian was a suppressed individual. I loved everything - until I realised he is a murderer. Plain and simple. Cross the guy and he will kill you. In literal sense. I loved it when he drove a knife through a groper's hand. But then my jaw slackened in disbelief when he shot the guy dead. Just like that. Not a bad guy, just a regular jerk who deserved punishment, but death? Christian didn't sit well on me. I would have loved an arc where he lets go of his vicious tendencies to torture and murder. We didn't see where he got this from. His childhood was a mess with parents who were irresponsible - something millions of kids suffer world wide and do not become murderers. I get it he grew up with a chip the size of Mount Everest on his shoulder, and everything would have made sense if there was something that really led him to be who he was. It's never explained. What's worse is that Stella accepts it. At one point she says, "if anything happens to him I will never forgive you," for a random guy she is out for work at a pub during their 'break-up' phase, revealing that she is fully aware how far he can go, and she still accepts all of it later. It's a huge red flag. What happens if she ever wants to break up one day? Wants to walk away with her kids because she found he crossed a line he never should have? Yes, he does respect her wishes when she walks away this time. He thinks of ruining people who help her, but does not. He talks to plants about missing her - there were some really nice parts. So maybe he would hold. But then the guy goes right back to torture and killing and then goes back home like nothing happened. I get the killing - but torture? For the very first time, I have read a book which did not give me the happy ending vibe. Christian is unstable and a psychopath.

It was okay
"𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣. 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧. “ The final book in the Twisted series, Twisted Lies, following Stella and Christian. I was very excited for this because Christian had enticed me in books 2 and 3. However, it was just an okay read. Stella, a fashion influencer, has her stalker problem come back and Christian, a security CEO, wants to help her fix it because he’s intrigued by her. They also start fake dating so that mutually they can keep up public appearance and interest. “𝙄’𝙢 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧.” Christian Harper is definitely an alpha male type. And I’ve realized I don’t really like that, even for fictional men. It’s why I wasn’t super into book one, Twisted Love with Alex Volkov. They just aren’t for me, but that’s on my part. "𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙣𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙄’𝙢 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙪𝙥𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙.” There were some super cute moments in this book, like when Christian helped Stella out of a panic attack. I liked seeing them in a fake relationship and acting like they were together. "𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙙.” The plot for me seemed very similar to Twisted Love. Alpha male, only wanting the girl that’s theirs, killing and hurting for them, moving in together because of safety, kidnappings, saving lives, breaking up because of a huge secret that’s been following them for years. "𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙤 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙧.” I love Stella as a character. She wants to work in fashion and an industry that others would think was silly, as her family does. Finding it in herself to stand up and become more confident. I loved reading about it and how she overcame the fear. “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙄 𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪,” 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙. “𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚. 𝙔𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙, 𝘽𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙡𝙮. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚.” I do think this was a good way to end the series, how it wrapped up all of the couples, and how they were always hanging out together. Overall, it was an okay book, but books 2 and 3 are still my favorites. "𝙉𝙤𝙬, 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙯𝙯𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚.”

Ana has done it again!!!
4.75 ⭐️ 3 🌶 OMG!!!! I read this book in 24 hours and somehow even 2 weeks later, have not processed it completely. The book hangover is INTENSE I don’t know how it’s possible but every book in the Twisted series gets better than the last. Thai time around with Stella and Christian is no exception. They are two people you wouldn't picture together but make sense in every way. They bring out the best in each other: Christina helps Stella self-confident and she makes him you know less...morally gray 😂. I loved Stella! Before starting Twisted Lies, I didn’t think I’d like her story because she isn’t as prominent in the other books so there wasn’t a lot of connection. After finishing, I can say she’s my favorite Twisted girl. She’s inspiring: despite her internal battles with anxiety, trust issues as well as family struggles, she still exudes genuine kindness. And Mr. Christian Harper takes boy obsessed to a whole new level (what is it with men named Chrisitan and obsessions?! Thinking of Allister from the Maddest Obsession here). I was living for his ‘touch her and I’ll kill you’ energy the entire time. Sir was out here calling Rhys whipped 2 books ago?! Like he was eating up those words with a forklift all throughout this book. And I don’t know anyone else but I love a borderline-stalker simp so Christian is an instant book boyfriend for life. One of the best things about Ana Huang’s books is the writing. I think the Twisted series has some of the best crafted romances I’ve ever read. They never lag, even with the ones over 500 pages. Not only is there an organic build up of each relationship with real struggles to overcome but each character has an independant arc and so much nuance. I’m not usually a fan of a slow burn but after reading Stella and Christian’s story, I can see its merit. This couple especially needed some build up because unlike the other Twisted couples, they didn’t know each other for years. ALSO each FMC is so relatable! I simultaneously want to be them and be best friends with them. Speaking of best friends, that epilogue got me wishing for a similar future with my own friends. In terms of rating, I’d say the spice is on par with Twisted Love, which I consider 3/5 🌶. And Twisted Hate was my highest rated book of the year and everything, including Twisted Lies, is inadvertently compared with it. So I’d say this book is around 4.75 ⭐️. Overall, Ana Huang did not disappoint 🤩. I love everything about this book even though I prefer a fast burn to a slow burn.Rarely is there an ending as satisfying as this. Ana Huang’s Twisted Lies is a love letter to the entire series and fans everywhere will be equally satisfied and heartbroken when saying goodbye to these characters. I recommend the Twisted series to all of my friends and I'll be reading everything else Ana writes, starting with King of Wrath in October 2022! Tropes: slow burn, forced proximity, billionaire romance, grumpy-sunshine Final series ranking: Twisted Hate Twisted Lies Twisted Games Twisted Love FMC: Stella Jules Bridget Ava MMC: Josh Christian Rhys Alex

Wow! Kept me up all night!
Christian and Stella are the best couple. Of the Anaverse, only Dante and Vivian match them. Their dinner scene, the four of them was the wonderful, wish I was invited! The writing was on point, the book flowed effortlessly and the story was perfect escapism. The mystery was well played and added great suspense. The terrible family dynamics of Huang's books showed out and of course was the reason for the trajectory of the story. Lot's of visits from the Twisted Crew and a perfect finale of the series. Happily every after for this couple and the rest of the group! The best book!

This is how you end a series!
I want to start of saying that I loved the first 3 books in this series so my expectations were high. And after reading a heartbreaking romance I wanted something spicy and this is just that. I was a little concerned about halfway in without much spice but we got there eventually. And the storytelling is really good, I couldn’t put it down! Stella is such a relatable character. Slightly introverted, avoids conflict at any price and just a really nice person. Throughout the book she really grows more comfortable in her skin and that’s so inspiring to see. And then we have Christian the morally gray alpha hero, need I say more. Beware of triggers warnings before reading this one, there are a bunch. I love the girls but come on, the dynamics between their partners. I would be down for an entire book about a guys trip, that would be wild I mean just imagine all the possibilities.
