Does not stay in one place
The magnet is not strong enough to hold the lamp fixed to one spot (setting). It slumps over as the magnet is not strong enough to hold it.

Best purchase EVER!
Best purchase EVER!!! Bought 2, one for each side of the headboard. They blend in, fit perfect, and are so functional. They hold a charge for a very very long time. Best part, they are connected to the base magnetically so when you need a flashlight in the middle of the night you just pop it off, turn it on and no fumbling for a flashlight! I use this light every night - turn it on when I turn off the lights, get settled then easy touch to turn off. Highly recommend. Just bought for son’s room as well.

Nice light for reading and it’s detachable
Great light for my son’s room! Bright enough and looks just like pic in description. He can carry light with him at night so that’s great, it attaches to base by a magnet. Very handy
