The Story Of Life Evolution

Took forever to receive this but finally got it and it’s BEAUTIFUL; perfect for a timeline of life study for our montessori homeschool. Each era and period looks to be represented — lots of great pictures. I think it’d be awesome for kids’ tracing work and making their own timeline.The binding seems a little iffy / loose at the bottom in the middle pages, and we just started using it. Still recommend. Just looks like we will need to handle with care. Otherwise it’s absolutely a beautiful hardcover reference guide!!

We love this book. It has some difficult words to read for a 7 year old, because the scientific language, but we read those passages together. Both my daughters and myself loved it!

Just beautiful. Informative and beautiful

I bought it for a six year old that is obsessed with all things natural. The book is gorgeous. It ahead of her reading level of course but she loves it and I can read to her.

This aligns with the timeline of life lessons in Montessori beautifully. I supplement my material with this book and it’s one of the children’s favorites.

Lovely books, but I only got it because it was on sale. I'd love the rest in the series, but not for about $30 a piece. Too small of a book for that.

This is a very good book for all ages. Not so technical that young readers cannot both learn from it and enjoy it. Great illustration

Great book to introduce the evolution process

The media could not be loaded.  This book is perfect for beginners that are interested in learning zoology, it summarizes important details in a easy to understand format. The illustrations are beautiful as well.

Esperava um livrão, assim como os outros da coleção (possível ver diferença na foto), já que são livros bem caros.Tirando isso, esse livros assim como os demais da coleção são incríveis, didáticos e as ilustrações são lindíssimas. Muito bons para despertar o interesse e ensinar crianças (e adultos) sobre ciência, com uma linda e ilustrada história da origem dos seres vivos na terra.Uma pena não termos uma versão em português.

Nous adorons les livres illustrés par Katie Scott. Celui-ci ne fait malheureusement pas partie de la série 'Big Press' et ne contient pas la chronologie à déplier qui fait toute la richesse de la série. Cet ouvrage est de plus petit format et ne fait pas honneurs aux illustrations originales, qui sont parfois mal découpées d'une page à l'autre du fait de leur taille. Quel dommage !
