🐠 Feed smarter, not harder — keep your tank tidy and your fish happy!
The SunGrow Fish Food Feeding Ring is a 4-inch square floating or suction-mounted device designed to contain flakes and floating pellets, preventing food from dispersing into filters and reducing water turbulence. Ideal for community tanks, it enables separate feeding zones for aggressive and shy fish, minimizing bullying and food waste while maintaining cleaner aquarium water.

Great for keeping floating plants out of HOB filter flow
I wanted Red Root Floater plants in my aquarium, but I use Hang on Back filters. The floating plants would get churned under the return water of my filters and get ruined. I bought these to position under the return stream and they are working perfectly so far. Preventing the floating plants from getting under the filter stream. I'm not sure how they work for feeding fish, but if you're looking to have floating plants and use HOB filters, these seem to be working great for me.

Simple and efficient.
Simple and efficient. If you have moderate to heavy water-flow in your aquarium, then keeping your fish food in a central location so the fishys can eat instead of chase their food is impossible without these. Good value at an affordable price.

It’s big, it works, it aids in peaceful Sorority feeding.
Well these definitely work. I placed them in our Betta Sorority tank and they are helping the feeding situation there. The picture makes it look like the float it attached with a string to the suction cup; it's not. That's definitely a plastic stick of some sort- Firm- so it pushes the "ring" (which is square..w/e) away from the tank wall. Then the "ring" itself is large enough for a grown Betta Splenden (2"-3" with male finnage) to fit inside. All in all we're talking a fair amount of real estate considering most males live in 5 gallons on the high end. I attempted to put this in my Marinelife 5g Portrait, and with its strange sliding glass lid, most of the food ended up on the plastic edges of the "ring". (If I switch to a fully submersible heater I'm sure I could get a wider/deeper opening from the lid and that might solve the issue.) On the 5g Fluval Spec the hole in the lid seems ideally cut to use this; however the thing was so huge, I was going to need to rearrange my Betta leaves to use it. The Spec's light bar makes the only logical place to put it at the end opposite of the filter components. My Sorority is in a standard 20g tall for now and that's where I've been using these feeder "rings". They are way helpful simply bc my Alpha kinda takes one over, then everyone else can eat in peace. I only wish they had clear suction cups so I felt comfortable adding another to the front of the tank. I've got 2 in there right now, and they absolutely need one more. I would recommend them more for traditional or larger tanks simply bc of space and I definitely recommend them for anyone doing a Sorority. They're probably also ideal for community tanks with different fish eating different kinds of food. Bettas are super smart, and after I fed them in these "rings" the first time they kept checking back in the "rings" anytime they saw me for more food. :) So they form that association almost instantly, at least my fish did. The reason I'm not ..woo 5stars!.. is bc of 1) the ugly black suction cup- literally every other suctiony thing Out in all my tanks has a clear suction cup. (Black suctions are on the heater holder clsmps, and on the bottom of filter motors... Business pieces away in the Back) I would appreciate a better More Clear suction cup.. I don't appreciate the black cup unless they were intending this to go on the back wall of the integrated filter tanks... 2) the stick. It's weird. It takes up space. It's not a piece of string.. so many reasons.

Could have been better
It stuck to the glass fine and has a nice hinge point for where the tether for the plastic rod/string attaches to the floating square and tank. However, the lack of flexibility in the rod/string makes it very hard to keep it level at times, as well as when the water level changes due to my plant light, and has led to plant matter getting into the square, which was the purpose of me getting this. It is easy to accidentally install it off kilter and you have to have it just right to make sure outside substrate does not enter; it does not have a large lip to help negate the margin for error. If you are better than me at gauging the water level you have day to day + filter flow with the length of plastic cordage connected to suction cup, or if you don’t have floating plants, go for it. However, if you want something a tad more flexible that will move with your water, keep plants out, and stay level- this maybe isn’t it. If it was thicker(taller) I feel this wouldn’t be as much of an issue, but it is pretty thin.

DONT WAST YPUR MONEY
I am only giving this a 1 star because I have to in order to leave a review. Doesn't even deserve that. This product puts true meaning to the term you get what you pay for. DONT WAST YOUR MONEY!!! The top and bottom won't stay together so it will not float making it useless.

Suction sucks
Works great when it’s not floating around the tank. Wanted to train my fish to go to it during feeding time but it floats around when the suction loses grip, so not very effective

Perfecto para alimentó con escamas
Una forma perfecta de que las escamas no se vayan al fondo y se desperdicien, además los peces en un día ya saben que tienen ahí la comida. Totalmente recomendable
