This blaster was $129 when it was released, and it was a monster contender at the time, offering a primary flywheel blaster platform that is ready for a lipo right out of the box-- but even with AA batteries, it consistently shoots 130+ fps. For $30 currently, this is the absolute best flywheel blaster on the market for the money. However, there are a few quirks to beware. Firstly, there is a design issue with the pusher that causes it to occasionally grab a dart and pull it backwards out of the magazine, causing a feed jam and rec trigger jam. In order to clear it you have to drop the mag. This is a bigger problem with shorts than with standard darts. Luckily, Out of Darts sells a small piece that sticks onto your short dart magazine adapter that resolves this for just a few bucks. Secondly, there is an issue with the pusher rail wherein some mags will squeeze the rails enough for the pusher to get stuck forward, causing a trigger jam. This is easily fixed with no extra parts by clipping one of the rails flush to the gearbox. All it takes is a pair of nippers and a few minutes. Check out the YouTube videos on how to do this. With those problems easily resolved, this blaster really only has one problem-- its rate of fire. Stock, with AA, this blaster gets an abysmal 2 rps. With a lipo it bumps to 3-4 rps, but even that is borderline unusable. But thankfully, this blaster is select-fire, and it runs rock solid in semi auto, so it will fire reliably as fast as your finger can move in semi auto. Also, the blaster has a big secret-- underneath the 8 AA battery tray is an XT60 connection already installed, and all the wiring is beefy enough out of the box for a lipo, with zero modification (unless you use a few specific skinny batteries, you'll probably need an extended battery door). This is the first blaster to do this off the shelf. It's crazy that you can go to Target or whatever and buy a blaster capable of this. For performance, the blaster feeds as reliably as your mags after addressing the above issues, and generally shoots around the 150ish fps mark, depending on your darts and battery setup. I had heard other nerfers say it's inaccurate-- but that has not been my experience. Although I don't have a ton of experience with flywheel blasters, I will say anecdotally that this is the most accurate flywheeler I've ever fired, and that it was outperforming every other stock flywheeler on my local field by a longshot (no pun intended). Don't be put off by the ROF-- if you want a higher output, there are mods, but I don't think you can find a better platform for $30. With just a couple tweaks, this thing dominates in a variety of game styles. If you are new to nerf or if you just want a new blaster to mess with, I can't stress enough that the Mk3 is an absolute steal at this price! Get it while you can!

had a issue at first with rev trigger being stuck in place moved other switch for auto semi auto and rev trigger popped back out on it's own. Very fun product enjoy with older kids.

This is not for kids, this is a old teenager or young adult.! is a great machine, shoot fast both modes automatic and semi are great. Automatic have an inconsistent rate of fire but is ok

Functions amazing with both full and half length darts. Full auto is a bit finicky with full lengths, but effective none the less. The inclusion of the XT-60 connector under the battery tray is so perfect! Being able to put a rechargeable battery in out of the box is so convient apposed to going through the hassle of rewiring.

Got his on sale for 105 Canadian, what a deal! The blaster works great. Semi auto works the best, full auto shoots a bit slow to actually use but I heard replacing the battery tray with a lipo improves it. Very happy with purchase!
