Has anyone had tripping breakers due to high in rush current on these? I have these on switch controlled outlets.

I have them on switched outlets also but I have not had any issues they work great

How many would i need for a garage 20x25 with 14 foot ceilings?

Hi, I used 4-150 watt in a 24x32 with 12 foot ceilings and it’s like daylight. If you go to their website they have a chart that you can plug your dimensions into and it will explain your needs.

How many lights for a 30x50 building with 10 ft ceiling?

I used 4 lights on a 30×40 pole barn with 20ft ceilings. More than enough lighting for that area. I would just recommend to be aware that the amount of light coverage reduces as the ceiling height gets lower.
