Does it work with 5 quart Artisan series stand mixer?

The Artisan series mixers are made by Kitchenaid, not Cuisinart. I can't say with 100% accuracy, but I don't believe the attachments are interchangeable. That sounds like using Ford parts on a Chevy.

Are there recipes for dairy free ice cream?

I no longer have the recipe book that was enclosed but as with most dairy free ice cream, substitute Cashew milk or other plant based "milk" for cow's milk. Google dairy free ice cream and then adapt a recipe for the amount needed for your ice cream maker.

Does it come with the driver assembly for connecting attachments? It doesn't show this piece.

It comes with everything needed to use the item. I hope that answers your question!

Description

Ice Cream Maker Attachment Review: Works great! - I live this attachment for my cuisinart!! This makes awesome homemade ice cream!! Works very well - you can literally watch it thicken to ice cream as it is mixing. Review: Love it!! - This Cuisinart ice cream maker attachment is a fantastic addition to my kitchen! It’s easy to attach and use, turning my stand mixer into a versatile ice cream machine. The bowl freezes quickly and churns ice cream to the perfect consistency in under 30 minutes. Cleanup is simple, and the results are just as good as store-bought—if not better! Perfect for making custom flavors at home. Highly recommend for ice cream lovers!

Perfecta

La compré como regalo para mi mamá y estamos fascinados, más en esta época de calor. Los helados y sorbetes quedan excelente y es muy bueno hacerlos tú mismo y no comprar.
