Remarkable thus far
I haven't had this long, but I'm already seeing great benefits, especially with muscles in my back after a long day working in the yard. But I've also found it very useful in easing pain from old injuries on my left foot. I cup my hand over the top of my foot to push against (otherwise it bounces) and then run the Theragun with the micro point along the bottom. I do the same with my hands, and in my right where I have pretty severe trigger finger, it has done wonders to ease pain and stiffness, as well as help to loosen the tendon (I run it all the way from the middle bones of my fingers to my shoulder). My ring finger is still catching somewhat, but my middle finger is almost back to normal after less than a week. And I'm not positive yet, but I think it might be helping with overall hand stiffness caused by my carpal tunnel. (Note that I place my hand palm-up on something like the mattress or a pillow to provide some support while using.) I also find it very relaxing as a quick all-over massage before climbing into bed. One thing that I've seen others mention that I agree with is that it would be really helpful to have a lower setting than what is currently the lowest. I can tell that over time I will be able to tolerate the strength in certain areas. But there are some spots I'm not sure I'll be able to tolerate full contact even on the lowest setting - I'm able to use it now by barely allowing it to contact my skin, and it does still help immensely. However, I can certainly see there may be older people who could not use this at all simply because the lowest percussion setting is too much. In terms of quality, it seems very well-made, but time will tell. It is hefty in hand...I think that could also be an issue for some when positioning for use on the back, but I actually find that the weight helps me with control when I'm using it around bony areas (spine, knees, etc...). It seems to help it from bouncing around. The handle shape is excellent for reaching anywhere it is needed. Changing attachments is simple. I don't find the app particularly helpful for my needs, but maybe that will change over time. (I use it for the Airboots, which I love, love, love!) I do wish the battery lasted longer (I charge every other day), but charging is simple, so it isn't a huge issue. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase! I haven't sprung for the cold attachment yet. I'm going to wait on that as I think it would only be useful if I can tolerate the percussion more fully. It's on my list for the future.

Theragun Pro is Great
Great massage gun. Had a hypervolt, but the Theragun Pro is hands down better at muscle stimulation and deep penetration.. It is a bit more expensive, but worth it. The Bluetooth connection to the app is a bonus. Quality of build is very sturdy and it comes with various attachments. Very portable with the carrying bag. Holds all the attachments and the gun.

Only one battery, with no replacement options if defective!
The 4th Generation use to include two rechargeable batteries. These newer G5 units come with only one, and you cannot purchase additional batteries!! I use these in my clinic nearly all day long, but without the option of more batteries to quickly swap out it seems useless. Also once the initial battery no longer charges, or if its defective, they want you to purchase a new one. The unit itself does seem great, and is much quieter than their previous models. For home or infrequent use it is a great tool. However, the company is forcing individuals to upgrade the unit entirely even if it's just a battery becoming defective. It's a shame. Hypervolt is their biggest competitor and they offer replaceable batteries. Time to switch!

Purchase a charger when purchasing the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus
The good: The Therabody Theragun PRO Plus is nicely packaged and securely packaged for delivery. There is little or no chance of receiving a damaged unit. It is very easy to access the product within the box. There is no excessive use of paper, plastic or Styrofoam to dispose of, so at first glance the product is environmentally friendly. The Therabody Theragun PRO Plus is stored in it's own soft, durable carrying case, which makes it easily portable. There are two zippered pouches. The zippers are easy to operate. The top pouch has sectioned areas for each attachment. The bottom pouch comfortably stores the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus protecting it from dust, scratches or flopping around. The charging cable also has its own section and comes in its own protective box. The protective box also includes a small vial of QuietForce Solution to keep the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus running optimally. The enclosed QuietForce Solution is a sample. This was a welcomed added touch. There is also a detailed manual, enclosed neatly in a pouch, connected to the packing box, to get the user started, so there is no guesswork on how to use the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus; again no excessive plastic or packing material. The development team added a set of cards indicating effective treatment for what may be ailing the user. The cards show which attachment to use for different ailments. The development team did not fall short on explanation of use or care for the environment. The not so good: The Therabody Pro Plus is delivered discharged, therefore the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus cannot connect to the downloaded app, via Bluetooth, until the unit is charged. The Therabody Pro Plus is delivered without a charging block. The user will have to purchase the proper USB-C Charging Block to charge the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus. There is nothing noting the additional expense or the need to purchase the USB-C Charging Block in the description on the Amazon site. There is also no mention of the need to purchase a USB-C Charging Block in the very well written manual. At $649, one would think that everything a user needs would be in the box. This user also finds that there is no charging indicator light on the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus, therefore this user cannot tell if the unit is being charged or when charging is complete. There is no contact phone number for support for the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus. The user is directed to a website or an email address for support. Overall: The Therabody Theragun PRO Plus has a good handling weight. It's not too heavy or bulky. It feels balanced in the hand. The material encasing the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus is soft and pleasant to the touch. The USB-C Charging cable is heavy duty and has ample length. I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus , because the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus cannot be used out of the box, nor can the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus be charged out of the box. I was able to register the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus and create a username and password via the downloaded app, however, the closest I was able to get to technical support was clicking a predefined link box to say that I had an issue with the unit and then entering my email address. There was no place to indicate what problem I am having. I found this process severely wanting. I will wait a few days to hear from technical support before returning the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus because of the missing USB-C Charging Block and a gated technical support process. HLP Update 1: I received a prompt and courteous response from technical support. Manuel and Leo were extremely kindhearted and helpful. They explained the issue in an understandable and respectful manner. They treated me with great mercy. The Therabody support team is with all certainty, good-natured. I will be keeping the Therabody Theragun PRO Plus. HLP

Fifth generation battery is still replaceable
This is my second Theragun pro. I had the first and now the fifth generation, it’s a great product but now I see the sixth generation has an internal battery. Take it for me, that is garbage you want the ones that you can remove and replace.

Work great, should come with extra battery
It works amazing, is quiet and comes with the perfect tool for each body part. Work so well decided to get the newer version to chest out the additional features such as the the heated head. While the battery is removable, and it's supposed to be interchangeable. It does not come with additional batteries. Nor do they sell online. That is the only downfall when wanting full body, Intense massages.

Expensive But Well Worth It!!!
First and foremost, is it worth the money? The answer is subjective. But I have to say YES!! I have a less expensive massage gun and I will tell you this model is more percussive and goes deeper than the less expensive model. Coupled with the tri-handle, which really works well to position the gun where needed and the connected app which guides you through different routines, really makes this a worthwhile purchase. I've read other reviews that complained about poor battery life. I have not experienced that. Battery performance has been adequate. If you have the aches and pains, I highly recommend this product!

Wish I had bought this sooner
What a fantastic device! I tried most of the heads via the app demos. The heated percussive head is great on my back and legs. The vibration head is wonderful on my knees. So happy with this purchase. My muscles and joints feel so much better! The Theragun is simple to turn on and choose a program. You can also choose a program in the app. I think this was well worth the money. After 15 minutes of working with it, my pain levels are decreased by quite a bit.

Very effective
Lately my feet have started to hurt at night or after a run and in the mornings I have this annoying ache. I tried massage machines with rollers but they don’t go deep into the pain points and you can’t make them concentrate on the exact area it’s hurting. With this you can pinpoint exactly and as it effectively pounds the area, it leaves you feeling light footed. You can actually feel your blood flowing properly in the feet after a minute of using this. The triangle handle is just amazing - you can grip it any way you want even if you’re targeting your back or hamstrings. Any other handle would have been harder to grip since it would have bent your hand. With this you can hold it from all three sides. The adjustable arm is super convenient. Overall beautifully designed for its purpose.

Very high price for what it is
I had a theragun 4th gen and used it for 5 years straight, many times a week. It became noisy, it’s a very mechanical device after all so could well be normal wear and tear and I upgraded to this one. It doesn’t feel much like an upgrade for a super high priced device, but worst of all it suddenly stopped working after about 15 months of usage. There are many comparable devices at significantly lower price points, don’t think that this one offers anything extra. Just pay attention to 16mm amplitude (many other ones have this now) and buy another brand at a 3rd or 4th of the price of this. If they break down you won’t feel as bad.
