I bought this to use as a driver covering my load with nets. The hook is good for pulling elasticated bungees onto hooks & the 2 ears on the top are very effective lifting rope & bungees over bin edges & snag points. Being metal it should be more resilient then the acrylic boat hooks previously used, will probably outlast the pole it is currently on & see me through to retirement. The grub screw is very helpful stopping the fitting from working loose when in use, especially if twisting a net or rope. It's not the cheapest fitting available but as the saying goes buy cheap buy often.

I have a DocaPole which is useful for a number of tasks and this little hook is invaluable for scraping leaves out of the roof valley, putting up Christmas lights on the house and essentially reaching anything that my arms will not. It is expensive, but it is metal and therefore should give a very long service.

I purchased this along with the ProDec 4'-8' pole to make my life much easier while working with curtain sided HGV's. Not all forklift drivers load with precision and at times the internal netting would snag on the upper pallets, making it time consuming, hunting for the step ladders. Also, handy for tucking the side curtains in at the end, so not to crease the brand new 3k curtain.

Have only used it so far to lift down/hang up bird feeders to avoid having to get out steps. It seems well constructed and does this job well.

Did not use this much until the hot summer this year - opened a velux window with it without any major resistance and on the second use to open the window it snapped 3 days outside of the 1 year anniversary of buying.

The hook is of good quality and works well for hanging lights and other lightweight jobs. I have not used it too pull down broken branches that are hung up in trees, which is why I purchased it. I would have preferred it if it was solid steel and not cast.

Work great for my needs. I have ivy wall and need to pull some of them down, w/o using tall ladders. This with long extension pole worked perfectly!! love that I can use it for different projects, pull or to lift up.
