Can somebody explain the game as rules are confusing please

The game starts with one player being attack and the other being defence. Look at the main 6 squares on each players top card, if the ball on attack is a clear square on the defence then that player gets another chance to move up the field. This can be done 3 times if the square is clear. The attacker can then try for goal - this is the 3 squares at the top of the card, if the defence card is a goal image without the goalie they score. Each time a new card is used. If there is a defender in the way then both players flip their pack and swap roles. I hope this helps. There are other rules - free kick and penalty - but hopefully if you get the basics the rules will seem a bit more obvious. You are also meant to keep 8 cards out for the end of the game. Going through the pack once is the first half, reorder the cards - so that all attacks are facing the same way - and start again for the second half. At the end there is a number in a square, this is how many cards you need for extra time! I really enjoy playing this with all my children - 11, 9 and 8 :). Good luck.

It's a game for 2 players, each gets a set of cards one blue team, the other red. One side is attack, the other is defend. The player attacking has 3 chances to pass the defender them go for goal. My kids enjoy playing, it's a great going out game to keep them quiet!
