Best Collars for Big Dog People!
Very well made, all end are rounded and you can also put the rubber covers on too. The martingale feature keeps them from backing out. I use these when we go into the ocean with the pups and no rust, a little discoloration, but work as they did when they were new. We only use them when walking, training, and going out to restaurants - and they know these are their best behavior collars. They are not a lightweight collar and we no longer have a problem with the dogs chewing off each other collar.

Great collar, use daily
Great collar, fits great and is easy to remove links to fit smaller necks, the middle clasp makes it easy for putting one taking off. Seems comfortable on my dog, and great training tool for a stubborn pup.

Excellent affordable prong collar.
Excellent prong collar. It's easy to adjust to fit your dog's size neck - we use a pliers to squeeze the prongs instead of our fingers. The collar lasts about one year because the spring can rust, but we walk our dog multiple times of day AND in all types of weather! It is lightweight yet durable. It is worn loosely and easily tightens to signal your dog to obey commands. Our 75 pound border collie-black lab is prey sensitive and likes to pull. The prong collar gently reminds him to obey our commands and stop pulling. Our dog's obedience training instructor recommended it and she was totally right that the prong collar allows me to handle him better. He is a good dog and is much better on walks with the prong collar,

Works for my Doberman
This is a great piece for bigger dogs the only issue the little rubber prongs fall off within about a month or two of using so make sure you save some and pay attention to those.

Get it!
This collar has helped train my little dog. Of course my dog hates it and he runs away every time he sees me grab it but he does not pull away as much as he used to. He listens and pay more attention now. He also sits every time we stop walking to prevent from pulling. He’s not trying to run up to other dogs as they are walking by, he simply looks at them now. I recommend it for everyone that has an issue with training their dogs to behave. I received so many great compliments from the airport staff the other day on how well behaved he is. That makes me so proud since that was his first flight and it was international. The size is a great fit for his neck. The appearance is a little scary at first but my brother helped me understand the proper way to use it. Once I got the hang of it, it was pretty easy. He didn’t like it at first. He would stop walking completely the first 2 walks we did but he eventually caught on quickly. My baby is 7lb Shih Tzu and he wears a XS. I had to remove some links to get it down to his perfect size. Hope this helps.

Returning Control of your Pet
We watched several beautiful collars get destroyed by our growing pups. We realized that they needed metal collars and considered the traditional choker collars. Instead, we bought these and were impressed with the results. It’s like the dogs have hearing aids tuned to our frequency. If you are fairly light weight and are concerned that you won’t be able to control your growing pups, this is the collar for you. It may help to wear gloves at times to train the young beasts but you’ll get them to turn whichever direction you want with just a turn of your wrist. The quick release is very stout and holds well. The extra rubber protectors should be kept because your dog might lose a few. When you aren’t training the dog and it isn’t needed, you can remove it easily. Our pups seem to be used to wearing them 24/7 and the collar thickness protects their necks from other dogs. Once your pups mature you might not need this style collar but if you need a helpful training tool which transmits your desires to your dog, this will help. Downsides? The collar is of high quality and well thought out. The chrome plating however will eventually wear off. Bottom line? These collars will provide excellent service long after the glittery finish fades.

Not good
This prong collar attends to open while used it as u pull on it the lock doesn’t snap close also when the dog tends to lay down sometimes I’ll find it on the floor instead of being on his neck so I need a better lock system. Whoever is the manufacturer on this collar. It’s not really worth buying it my personal opinion.

appearances are not always what you get.
This collar was recommended by my trainer and Ive come to appreciate it as it doesn't hurt my dog unless I really want to. The ease of on/ off is wonderful but the tarnish of a rust color is not so appealing.

Great for reduced hand function
I have carpal tunnel in both my hands so standard prong collars are very difficult for me to take on/off. The quick release buckle is significantly easier to use and I love that it functions as a trachea guard as well. The bare tips are nicely rounded so they don't require the covers provided but I find them helpful for keeping the collar from sliding down your dog's neck. Over all it's very well made and easy to use.

Medium size seems to be big enough for Large and Larger dogs
First Impressions was, it’s huge! I might of taken Small for my German Shepherd. I took off 4 prongs and now have 6 prongs spare. There are only 4 prongs left on the collar. Idk how it will work as it will only squeeze the sides of the dog’s neck. Best suited for large necked dogs. Top quick release would be better, bottom uses prong space so there are less points of pressure.

Breakable
My 30lb golden retriever puppy (at 7 months old) started running toward another dog and the collar snapped at the hook connector site. These collars are supposed to inhibit pulling and stop them when they feel a pinch from doing so. I have another traditional prong collar for my other dogs and they have never broken.
