Best Coffee!
This is the best Costa Rica I've had. It is very flavorful and has a smooth fresh taste without the acidity. It definitely tastes like quality coffee. This is my Costa Rica go-to coffee from now on! You won’t be disappointed! And Alex, the owner, is a great person! So bonus points for that too!

No anxiety; taste & aroma of coffee from CR
My husband's parents retired to Costa Rica. He loves the local coffee. This brand is the flavor, aroma, and liw acid acidity he loves! I am sensitive to caffeine; low quality caffeine heightens my anxiety, but I don't have anxiety with Liquid Gold Costa Rica, just energy for my day. We just bought three more bags.

Spending a little more might get you better coffee..
Nothing special here, just smooth coffee. Not bitter at all, just a little lacking in overall taste. I prefer a coffee with more depth, this seems a little one demential and somewhat flat. Maybe they were not freshly ground beans, I don't know, whole beans were not offered. There are other Costa Rican coffees I enjoy more. Without a whole bean option, I'll go with Volcanica, it has never let me down.

Good Coffee, Ripped Bag
I tried this in my drip maker and it brewed well, the coffee itself was actually pretty good. As far as the taste, smooth and mild, chocolatey, nutty, a little added fruitiness, and just a trace of acidity. It felt like a true medium roast, medium body and not much bitterness, very enjoyable. The grind was about right for drip coffee and brewed without tasting too weak or too harsh. My main issue was the bag arrived ripped, and about a quarter of the coffee had spilled out, so I had to move the rest into another container to keep it fresh . That really hurt the overall experience, especially since this is only a 10-ounce bag and the price already feels a little high. Overall, the coffee itself is pleasant and easy to drink, and the flavor was good.
