⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great alternator! Arrived well packed and fit perfectly. Installation was easy, and it’s working great so far. The car starts right up and it’s charging the battery like it should. Very happy with it for the price.

So this alternator was purchased because the alternator in my 2016 Dodge Grand caravan was going out. And I thought I would share what I did to install it. I watched videos of other people doing the installation and my friend happens to have a garage with a four-post lift. Certainly comes in handy when trying to install an alternator in the bottom of this car. So one video showed removing the hoses to the coolant to bring the alternator out the top. But I found it much easier to remove the air conditioning compressor first, then remove the alternator that sits right above it. I disconnected the coolant lines from the compressor and the coolant did leak or evaporate out really fast. Once the compressor was out, undoing the bolts for the alternator and removing the plug and disconnecting the cable, it fell right out. I was holding it while doing so, so it didn't fall out. And then installing the new one was fairly easy. I say easy but this was a very time-consuming when you don't have the right socket. I had two sizes with me and the 13 mm did most the work, but I either had one that was too long or one that was too short and had to go get a socket that was kind of in between and that worked perfect. I have never installed an alternator in this vehicle before, so I'm sure if I knew what I was doing from the get-go this job would have taken maybe a couple hours but it took me more like four and a half. Really the only thing I have left to do is recharge the air conditioning. After the installation and putting the serpentine belt back on, when I fired it up, the battery check engine light was no longer lit. Time will tell how long this lasts, so I will either post another comment down the road saying how it's going or you'll definitely hear from me if it dies in the next few weeks.

Terrible product paid mechanic to install it alternator is bad. Now I’m stuck having to pay for the labor twice since the product was not good. Very disappointed don’t waste your money on this

Replacement alternator for a Town and Country. This is way cheaper than any parts store alternatives I could find, and it worked fine for the short time I kept the vehicle, so I count that as a win.

Good part just didnt fit my particular car. It said compatible but was smaller .

So far so good been 4 months now and still working great on my 2011 town and country

Appears to work fine. Perfect fit for my Grand Caravan, 2012. Did it myself. Switch out from the top of the engine!

was charging slightly high when first installed at 14.6 volts.... worked for approx 1 year then the battery light would illuminate every so often - shutting the van off and then on again would clear the issue so it appeared like a cold weather problem with draw from heater, defrost, wipers, etc. finally stopped working all together - it's cheap compared to true OEM or better quality and that is what you are getting so judge your risk accordingly

We purchased this Alternator for my 2012 Dodge Journey. Seems to be working fine. Have been using for a couple of months. Everything seems to be working fine. We were shocked this Alternator was half the price online. Shop around before making your purchase. It looks like a quality made product. But one never knows until they actually are using it.
