I now own several tarot card decks by the Crafterian brand. I love their vintage and distressed versions of the Rider Waite Smith cards featuring the original artwork of Pamela Colman Smith. My first deck was the parchment looking color scheme, then I bought the black background version, and now the one called Bright Tarot. This one is striking! The cards feature shades of tan, brown, and teal with a darker shading around the borders. They are absolutely stunning! I know I really love a deck when I get it and immediately want to buy a second copy as a backup in case this one gets worn out! The cards are a medium thickness, a little on the glossy side, with gold gilding. Be careful when you first get them as they may be a little stuck together from the gilding. Separate them gently so that you won't tear the edges of the cards. They come in a sturdy two-piece box with a glossy finish. The box sticks a bit when taking the lid off but I know from experience that it will loosen up over time. The deck shuffles well over hand. I tend to be a little gentle and don't riffle shuffle most of my decks to prevent damage. It comes with a decent little white book with card meanings, perfect for a beginner. Even advanced readers can pick up something new with each guidebook they get. Very happy with my latest deck and the others I already own. However I've noticed in their online store that a lot of their newer decks seem to be AI-generated which doesn't appeal to me at all so I'll stick with enjoying what I currently have. For the price, you can't go wrong with these vintage RWS decks from Crafterian!

I'm new to Tarot and so wanted a pretty traditional deck to learn on. This is a beautiful, vintage-looking deck with bright jewel tone highlights on a darkish parchment style background. The artwork is the very traditional hand-drawn imagery familiar to Ryder-Waite-Smith users. The card backs are a pretty gold and black design, and the size of the cards is just right - slightly bigger than standard playing cards, but not huge. The card stock seems fine to me - I guess I could fold a card if I tried hard, but they are definitely not 'paper as some described. Again, similar to playing cards - but a bit sturdier. The edges are a bright gold, and I unpacked them carefully and none were stuck together or damaged. I haven't used the guidebook much yet as I am taking an online course, but the booklet seems fairly straightforward with a brief synopsis of the qualities associated with each card. The box is emerald green, heavy, glossy cardboard and I think will protect the deck just fine.

Beautiful cards but damages easily if u shuffle them like playing cards. So do shuffle them that way or the edges will be damaged.

These aren’t as bright as depicted, but the colors are nice rich shades and very pretty. Card stock is very good and cards are easy to read.

This deck nails it—thick, durable cards with a glossy finish that makes the artwork shine. They’re a nice size for shuffling, easy to read, and fancy enough to make your other decks feel insecure. A solid pick for daily pulls or dramatic readings under candlelight. The booklet gives a good base knowledge of the card meanings and the price is nice.

Pros: The art work and gold edging are exactly as advertised. I received the tarot deck yesterday. So I do not know how the gold foil will hold up over time. Cons: A few of the cards were torn around the edges when I received them. With the cards having gold edging and black borders, the frayed sections are very noticeable. The thickness of the cards are on the thinner side. Which isnt bad if you prefer thinner cards but the cardstock itself is of cheap quality. The picture is after one 'gentle' faro shuffle. As you can tell a few cards already started to warp. This deck will not last long with regular use if you are a faro shuffler. I gave this tarot deck 2 stars because the art work and gold edging are quite beautiful but the quality is terrible.

I didn't get a bag to go along with it, but it came in a thicker stock cardboard box which is pretty decent, however, when Amazon delivered it, it was in an Amazon bag, not the bubble packaging bag you would normally get with other purchases, this should be changed to the box or bubble packaging bag because the box containing the cards was pretty banged up but thankfully the cards weren't affected by any impacts while in transit. Just make sure you sit down on your bed or table to handle the cards for the first time because a card slipped out and bent the corner pretty bad from the impact on the floor and now has a scuff on it that sorta messes with my ocd now. Anyway, I had a spare cloth bag lying around which fit the deck perfectly and I also have a little wooden box with the initial for my first name carved on the box lid so I'm good to go. The deck itself seems of pretty good card stock, I have always loved the Rider-Waite deck and out of countless decks, I always go back to it. The deck looks like something out of a movie which is pretty cool. It has an "aged look" to it and although it's a pretty gloomy deck, the colors are subtle and decided to go with this deck rather than the other one that just has black backgrounds on most of the cards. I like this deck, it looks really good and I love borderless cards with nice designs on the backs, so this was perfect. I use this deck for psychological archetype study, not for "fortune-telling" as I am Christian and am told to abstain from divination. Other than that, I absolutely love this deck. If you love the Morgan-Greer and the Rider-Waite, you'll love this deck for sure!

I wish I will received the same one as in the photo, I like the colour that’s in the photo. A bit disappointed but I will keep it.

Excelente mazo, es muy bello, los detalles dorados del contorno le dan un aspecto muy especial. La caja llegó un poco golpeada pero es lo suficientemente gruesa para cubrir el mazo

以前某ショップで世界のタロットカードの会なるものを申し込んで12個集めて以来の購入です。ちょっと特殊な絵柄ばかりのデッキです。 占い師でも無いので数もそんなに必要でもないのですが、本当に基本的なデッキも欲しくなり色々見ていてコチラに一目惚れしてしまいました。 実物もとても素敵です。例え力のカードのライオンの後ろ足越しが赤くても！

Para ser un tarot “bright” como dice el anuncio, de colores brillantes no tiene nada. Nada que ver con las fotos que muestran. Son colores apagados que imitan cartas envejecidas. Aún así, como me gustan y se que las voy a usar, me las quedo. Pero estoy decepcionada de no recibir lo que ofrecen, más cuando no es una baraja económica precisamente.
