Very easy to use and works well. My husband has arthritis in his hands and finds this very helpful. I probably should have purchased two as he keeps it by his chair so it's handy for him.

Very helpful multiple use tool with little effort to implement opening the toughest lids or caps

These worked perfectly for my 80+ year old father who suffers from arthritis in his hands. He can now open cans independently with just the turn of the tool and is much less frustrated.

The large jar opener was kind of torn up after I used to open a drink container. I’d say the silicone is a bit soft. Also, it didn’t grip the bottle well. This contributed to the damage of the silicone as shown in the photo below.

The biggest opener works well on many container lid sizes even if they don't exactly fit. The smaller bottle opener for 1 or 2 liter bottles does not do a good job when the cap is metal. I found that I could turn it hard enough to strip the threads on a metal lid and it wouldn't break the lid away from the lower ring holding it onto the jar. That was a pain to deal with. Works fine on plastic lids but use the large gripper on the metal lids.

Having had a total of seven hand surgeries (and probably another coming up), my hands are "challenged," to put it mildly. I have tried all sorts of gimmicks to no avail (outside of silicon sounds to help me grip a jar more tightly while I struggle to open it). If I lived alone, I'dd be in a world of trouble.... Enter the Jar Opener for Weak Hands, Seniors w/Arthritis, 5-in-1 Multi Function device(s). Oh. My. GOODNESS!!!! For the first time ever, I can open jars, water bottles, and every other type of container completely out of reach to my challenged hands! Popping off the top of a water bottle - Ezey Petz! Opening a tight jar? Not a problem? Jars of different sizes? Got it covered (or should I say "UN"covered?!) Run, don't walk to purchase this nifty solution to weak hands. Don't wait for somebody to visit only to encounter a countertop filled with bottles and jars of all sizes and shapes you have lined up for them to help you with. Reasonably priced - brilliantly designed. Nirvana!

The jar opener "for weak hands" works okay for tight lids and caps, but only if your grip is plenty strong enough to make it grasp the lid or cap. Otherwise, it just slips around. I can use it, but only by holding it really tightly and that kind of defeats the purpose of the whole thing, doesn't it? Someone with bad arthritis or grip weakness would be disappointed with this jar opener. The bottle opener/tab lifter, along with the red grippy thing, are nice additions to this set, so all in all it is a reasonable value but not the perfect solution to opening jars, etc. Recommended with reservations. The entire package is great. The 5 in one doesn't exactly fit jars correctly so it is a bit of a challenge from time to time. The bottle opener is fully functional and the jar mat works well wit most jars. There are always jars that are difficult to open and I've had to find work arounds because the 5 in 1 doesn't always work. It is fairly light and I store it in a drawer. No problems.

Works great. A coworker recommended this specific set to me. Was worried the components might come in a big ugly bag all messy and confusing, but it comes in a compact flat box you can store the stuff in should you want to. The rubber gripper tool helps me open tight Gatorade/Gatorlyte bottle caps that were making my hands so sore before — had been previously struggling using a towel for leverage for 5 minutes to try to open those and now can crack and twist them off so easily thanks to this product. Even ordered an additional set for my boyfriend’s family!

The item is for my elderly mother and she is very impressed!
