I am a guy with curly hair, approximately 5 inches in length. I have been using this cream for 7 months now and it is amazing. I love the smell, it's not overpowering and doesn't linger. This is the only product I put in my hair. I work it into my wet hair and make sure to hold it at the ends to help with absorption. Then I comb my hair the way I want and let it air dry. My hair is very frizzy, but with this cream, it manages the frizz perfectly and makes my curls look and feel healthy. After my hair has dried, it is a little hard, all you have to do is lightly massage your scalp and scrunch your hair. I don't recommend combing through your hair with your finger or brush. Gently use your fingertips, massage your scalp and it breaks up that hard feeling and leaves your hair very soft, healthy and fresh. Full disclosure, I know very little about hair care and such, but I have tried several other products for my hair as I am trying to take better care of it. I was not able to cut my hair for three months and after a period of very unsightly hairdos, one day I looked in a mirror and realized that I no longer need a hair because my hair began curling, got shorter, and looked good. According to the hair types charts, I have a 3a hair type. I included a graphic illustrating the hair type, as I only learned of the hair types and perhaps some others need help figuring our what they are. 3a type hair forms loose curls from the root to the end of the hair (i.e. not waves, and not tight curls). When my hair was shorter it just looked slightly wavy. I bought OGX curling defining cream to enhance the appearance of the curls. I never used a product like this before and was not quite sure what to expect. It did not make a huge difference for me but I think there is a bit more clumping of curls when I use it. After cream dried some strands of hair cling together but feel a little stiff. When I work them with my fingers the stiffness goes away. If I combed my hair, I lost the curls and the hair looked messy and unmanaged. After combing I can get the curls back by wetting the hair. I get the best results if I apply the cream to wet hair (after I towel dry it), then let the hair try naturally, and then run my fingers through the hair to break up the stiff-looking curls. The cream has a very light scent, almost unscented. I detect no scent once it is on my head. I like that. Update: I found that if I use a drying cap my curls look more defined because the cap accordions the curls as they dry so they keep their shape. This curl cream works wonders on my hair! It defines curls beautifully while keeping them soft and frizz-free. A little goes a long way, and it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave buildup. Love this curl cream! Helps eliminate frizz and leaves curls soft, bouncy, and defined. Doesn’t make hair greasy, and the scent is light and pleasant. A little goes a long way — the bottle lasts forever!

This is a good price curl styling product but it is not that good for my hair. You should buy a small one and try it on you before spending on a bigger size, because it has good reviews and it is on the good price size.

I love how light this product is, and works wonders for the soft curls that myself and my daughter have. It has a very nice smell, not too strong but pleasant. The best thing about this however, is how all i have to do is take a penny sized amount and run it through damp hair and my hair stays soft and curly

Love this product for my thick curly hair. It’s so hard to get. It’s not greasy or slimy and a little goes a long way. Really helps calm my curls without extra weight and keeps them sleek.
