Does anyone know if the components are high quality (more durable)? , the original elite controller had severe stick drift issues and bumper problems.

I've used the product for 2/3 months, and the RB button frequently double presses AND is unresponsive, meaning you click it once, and it registers either 2 clicks or 0 clicks. One of the paddles on the back is now consistently unresponsive, also the A button ARRIVED faulty. That's with 3 months of use. I'd say it's possible that I got unlucky, but google xbox elite series 2 RB or paddle issues and you'll learn there are many more like me. Such a shame.

Why is the price £185 when this item is retailing everywhere else for £160? it was £159.99 the other day. Should be against amazons terms of service.

Because 3rd party resellers are mercenary asshats. Yes Amazon should delist scummy businesses that basically scalp the consumer. Shame on the sellers and shame on Amazon for allowing this crap.

Does the controller have a 3.5mm audio jack?

Yes. Information on the website confirms : 'Includes 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Also compatible with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter and all other Xbox controller accessories made by Microsoft'

Is it a stronger build than the last elite controller? Or is it going to break easily again

They’re pretty solid. I had stick drift after 6 months but to be fair they took it back and sent me a brand new one within a couple of weeks. You get 12months warranty. No issues with new one and 4 or 5 mates have elite 2. Better than scuff for reliability a lot more sturdy imo
