The instructions were unclear, and some of the pieces didn’t align properly, making the entire experience frustrating. Additionally, the quality of the materials feels subpar for the price. The drawers are not as sturdy as I expected, and I worry about their durability over time. Despite being compliant with safety standards, I just don’t feel confident in the overall construction. Overall, I cannot recommend the Mopio Brooklyn Dresser. The lengthy assembly process and questionable quality have left me regretting this purchase. Save your time and money and look for a better option!

This dresser was really easy to assemble overall. The instructions were clear (I used the PDF on the manufacturer’s website so I could zoom in), and if you’re familiar with building furniture, it’s pretty straightforward with standard hardware. The one frustrating part was the drawers. They have an auto-lock feature that only allows one drawer to open at a time, which makes them trickier to install than expected. Important tip: when they say start with the bottom drawer, they mean it! Don’t remove the middle or top tracks until the bottom drawer is fully installed. I made that mistake, and even though I followed the order, the bottom drawer still wouldn’t go in. After spending 1–2 hours troubleshooting—while random parts kept locking—I ended up removing and reinstalling the tracks on the drawers and starting over. That finally worked. So I’d recommend installing the drawers one at a time—don’t try to do multiple at once. That said, the dresser is a great size. I’m using it in the living room. Mine did arrive with a scratch on top and a few dents on the right side, but it still looks really nice. The package is heavy, but I built it with one other person and it went smoothly. The quality is great—it’s solid, has a good weight to it, and I love the color!

We bought these due to its height and design. Very good quality, it’s been almost 2 years now and they are as new. I love that you can only open 1 drawer (even tiny bit) and the rest drawers lock - kind of works as a lock as a whole if you will have anyone come clean or anything else. The color is like a true white oak, the handles are champagne (dim gold, not a shiny awkward gold tone) and it’s very easy to mix with other furnitures and decor.

I bought this nightstand months ago, feeling very intimidated about trying to put it together. Rather than hiring a handyman, I decided to tackle the project myself this last weekend. The entire process was actually very easy and each piece of this product, of which there are many, were perfectly organized and labeled. The instruction said it would take two people about 2 1/2 hours. I did most of the project myself with a little help from another, and it took 3 1/2 hours. When everything was complete, I was very disappointed that one of the drawers would not close properly, which is always my concern when purchasing anything with drawers online. But after reading through the instructions at the very end and doing a very simple and minor adjustment, all three drawers work absolutely perfectly.

I purchased two of these for my bedroom end tables,the instructions weren’t great but we did figure it out.. you do have to have one drawer fully closed to open the next drawer which is also fine.. keeps use from leaving drawers open everywhere. very heavy and sturdy piece.. I do wish I could buy the top of the table where as it’s already had a few nicks from putting it together and it’s that pressed wood with a vinyl wood on top so it has a few rings around it from waters not on designated coasters.
