I love how this lid fits on all my pans!! It is great quality and holds up well even after multiple uses and cleaning it in the dishwasher. It doesn't take up much space in my cabinet and it is such a convenient lid to have on hand. I wish I had bought this lid sooner!! I don't know how I lived without it until now. I highly recommend purchasing this versatile lid for mess free cooking. It is perfect for covering pans that I don't have matching lids for. I use it every morning when I cook my eggs on the stove.

I bought this to use with my Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad stainless steel 8" and 10" frying pans, and my Tramontina Professional non-stick 8" and 12" frying pans since lids were not offered for the frying pans. I primarily use the lid for melting cheese or to prevent splatter. I don't need a tight seal for steaming or anything. This lid fits all 4 pans beautifully. I especially like the see-through portion to check if my cheese has melted without lifting the lid!

I’ve had so many pans were they either didn’t come with the lid or I have lost the lid somewhere along the way But this thing fixes it all. Now I don’t even worry about buying pans that do not have lids anymore because I can use this for anything

When I heard of a universal lid I had to try one. I hated having kids for every size pot and pan, there is never a good way to store them and they do not stack. This lid has several points I like and several I dislike. While the lid does fit on various size pots and pans it does not sit snug.steam and heat will seep out around the edges. With that in mind I am not sure I would use this lid for boiling water for example, but in most other applications I see it working just fine. My main goal was to set it over my cast iron skillets of various sizes while cooking to avoid splatter. Mission accomplished there! I am thrilled that cleaning up the stove can be done in less than half the time it took before because I can avoid the grease splatter! I have attached a photo of the lid sitting on my 10" cast iron skillet. While it does not fit snug it does fit well enough. It is oversized for the skillet and therefore hangs well over the edge of the skillet. This has not bothered me to much, other than aesthetics, because it does not fit well. I can still use the handle of my skillet without worrying about touching the lid. You definitely do not want to touch the lid while cooking. Both the glass and the metal around the lid heat up quite well when in use. I have not had any issue with the handle on the lid heating up however, just be careful when grabbing the handle that you do not brush your knuckles on the glass because it is hot. The handle us tall and wide, so I have had no issues with this. The biggest reason for deducting a couple stars from this review is the flatness of the lid. I am much more use to a dome lid so that it doesnt come near the food I am cooking. It really is not that big of a deal just preference. However, having heard and read reviews about universal kids having this issue I can understand why they can not dome the lid, because then it would not fit a range of different sized pots and pans. Simple solution is to make sure the skillet you are cooking with is deep enough and you will have no issues.

Unfortunately I bought this after I had already purchased the same one, but with a neoprene section where this one has the stainless steel. This is WAY better for cleaning and drying. Will buy again for sure. Only downside is they are large and take up space. It's good for me as I have enough storage, but if you are limited it could be an issue
