I think my cat may have eaten the little feather piece - plastic included. I can’t find it anywhere. Has anyone’s cat done this with this toy?

No, my cat has tried many times to eat parts of the butterflies but I have stopped her. One disappointment about this toy - I purposely got this one to entertain her without my supervision but can’t do that since she must be supervised so she doesn’t eat items and I have to put the butterfly away at night.

How do you change the butterfly of pop out feathers? how do you you the usb feature....do you need to buy your own?

I am not sure what you mean by " butterfly of pop out feathers". Butterfly is the one that dangles from the top of a metal wire the other end of which is put in the revolving base at the center of the toy. If you need to change that with another butterfly or a dangling feather, it's pretty easy. If you mean the feathers that pop out from groves, then it does not seem possible. For the USB, the socket is inside the battery box. It is very small and it takes some effort to locate it.

Any idea if you can replace the motor? My husband took the whole thing apart.

I have no idea but I tried it too and can’t figure it out. We had the toy for a month and the motor burned out. Can’t believe the put something in the box saying 100% satisfaction but you can’t get a hold of anyone to replace it. I guess they don’t stand behind their products

Does this toy make noise???

Yes. There is a whirring and clicking sound made by the bottom part where the feathers poke out of the holes. The top butterfly toy also makes this sound, but alot more quietly.

All of these are great except the feathers.

I'm only giving these 4 stars because, the feathered ones come off very easily. My cats aren't high energy. They bat at them a few times. The feathers came off quickly. The others are great!

Glad for them

I am so happy that they sell these attachments separately as well because I didn't even realize that my cats had already destroyed the one it came with. Which I should have considering how much less they were playing with it. But as soon as I got a new one put in, they were all over this toy again. Which is entertaining for all of us. Worth it.
