I’ve been searching for a screen protector that provides that satisfying paper-feel, and I’m so glad I found the ESR Paper-Feel Magnetic Screen Protector for my iPad Pro 11. It works perfectly and truly gives the sensation of writing on paper, which is exactly what I was hoping for! The installation was a breeze, and the magnetic attachment is so convenient—it stays securely in place without any issues. The surface has just the right texture for writing, sketching, and even general use. It feels natural under the stylus, and the matte finish helps reduce glare, making it easier to work in different lighting conditions. I’ve used a variety of screen protectors in the past, but none have matched this one for that authentic paper-like feel. Great feel | doesn't negatively affect apple pencil | easy to install This is my first time ever using a screen protector for my ipad. (As an artist, I've been paranoid about ever getting a screen protector out of fear it would mess with the latency of the apple pencil or the pressure sensitivity.) This screen protector does none of that. Plus, you can remove it whenever you'd like, and reuse it again. The textured feel is absolutely fantastic, and I definitely feel way more confident using the ipad because it's not going to get scratched if I'm rough with it. This screen protector pairs really well with a metal tip apple pencil nib! I totally recommend getting a different nib for the pencil, if you're an artist. The only potentially negative things i've noticed using this screen protector are: 1.) Does add a slight frosted glass look to the screen, but nothing that negatively impacts being able to see your colors or line work. 2.) Touch sensitivity is slightly impacted, ipad will occasially not recognize me zooming out. If you have a gentle touch, you might need to get used to pressing a bit harder.

I like it but I hate that it says “up” on the edge that you can’t take off

I got this screen protector after having used a Bersam paper feel screen protector for almost a year. I liked the writing ability of the paper feel screen protectors, but they ruined the display quality of an expensive iPad, so I decided to go back to a glass screen protector. So I searched for some alternatives, and found this. And I’m so glad that I did, because this is an absolute treasure! It has the same look and feel as a Bersem paperfeel protector, and attaches to your iPad easily and strongly and doesn’t fall off! It has no bubbles or anything when installing, you just align it with your iPad screen and press down, and it should attach to the screen magnetically. When you want to take it off, be careful not to take off your original screen protector as well, so look for an edge to this and then slowly remove it. It comes with a nice folder as well to store the screen protector when not in use, which is a great touch. It writes great and draws great as well. For the reviews that say it makes a screeching noise or sound, I had that issue at first too, but the solution I found was to use a cloth and press down on the screen and wipe the whole screen with the cloth. For me at least, that fixed the screeching issue. Overall, I think this is a very well priced screen protector and works perfectly! I would highly recommend it!

I've been using matte screen protectors for years now, as it does help a lot with drawing digitally. However, I did find myself missing the really nice quality screen whenever I would use my iPad for watching shows. I learned to live with it for a while, until I found out that magnetic paper-feel screen protectors were a thing after browsing through Reddit. This one in particular was recommended, so I went ahead and purchased it, along with a new tempered glass screen protector. After several usages, I absolutely adore the product. It attaches on easily to the screen and has a similar feel to a usual paper-feel screen protector. The included folder is a nice addition as well, so I can protect the sheet when I'm not using it. Great product!

Works good as a removable paper feel screen. I have my normal glass screen protector under this one when I'm using it, and there's no issue for the pen calibration. Snaps pretty easy to the magnets on the iPad and won't fall off easily. Only thing I've noticed is that it's a bit hard to clean, and always feels slightly greasy for some reason

I had a matte glass screen protector for digital art, but kept enviously looking at the clarity of the rest of my families screens who didn't have matte. I decided to switch back to a normal tempered glass protector, but wanted a removable option for when I draw. This was everything I wanted! Pros: -Gives a matte texture and paper like feel for drawing -easy to remove and install. It adheres magnetically so all you have to do is pop it on to a clean screen (make sure it lines up well) and run your fingers along the edges so its nice and flat -retains colors and as much screen clarity that can be expected from a matte protector - definitely anti-glare - comes with a storage sleeve that protects it when not in use -cleans up well. both sides have gotten dirty and I have been able to clean it well Cons: -application takes some getting used to. at times I have to peel it on and off to make sure it's adhering closely enough to my glass to not inhibit interfacing -prefers Apple Pencil. I find that response is better with my pencil when I'm drawing then when I use my finger to navigate around* *This issue mainly appears near the center and I can normally adjust it to get it to improve, but not necessarily disappear -I still question which side is face down and face up. Not so much a con, but it would be neat if it was more clear Definitely recommend if you don't want the matte all the time but like having it to draw or write with your Apple Pencil.

I like writing notes on post-its and my physical planner, so I decided to try this on my iPad. I have a glass screen protector and I didn’t want a paper protector all the time. This product meets me halfway. I didn’t really think much of it until I saw how much it helped write more clearly from a YouTube short I saw. My writing was all over the place on my iPad during college and post grad. This actually helps my writing to look less wobbly, as it feels like I have more control when I write or draw. I do like how I can remove it and save it for later. It works over my glass screen protector. The one issue I’ll sometimes come across is, I have to press harder so it can register I’m tapping on the screen without my Apple pen. Pros: - ability to take it on or off with a folder to put it away (temporary) - writing and drawing with more control - affordable - strong magnets and easy to put on and off - no bubbles Cons: - I have a glass screen protector and I need to press the screen harder to register (if I didn’t I’m sure a lighter tap is sufficient) - a stand alone screen protector as it’s thin and for temporary uses
