So happy with my purchase. I had a s7 before this. Did not want to spend the money on a s9 or 10. Amazing quality. Honestly the only complaint I could have is that my s pen definitely is beaten up but I never use that.

Fantastic tablet in 2025. Ordered excellent and my tablet came in that condition, aside from a few small scratches on the backplate metal. 5/5!

I bought this as a renewed product from cell traders. It came in the original box with the s-pen and the charging cable. I use an Anker 25 W charging brick that I purchased for my cell phone and it charges pretty quickly. I believe that it can charge as quickly as 45 W, but I don't need that as of yet. I find that the battery will hold up to about 8 hours of pretty constant use. An underrated utility is Samsung Notes which I have started to use to teach my class. I was using a Microsoft surface but I find that the little bit of friction that the s-pen provides really helps improve hand writing. Also the auto correct for shapes that I draw works great. The speakers are surprisingly loud. One small gripe is that the peak brightness of the screen could be better. Not a problem at all for any indoor use, but if I'm sitting in my patio in direct Sun, visibility/glare can become a problem. A case is pretty much a must have. Be sure any case you buy includes s-pen storage, either with a flap cover on the back or storage on the inside of the the case if you plan on trying to hold on to the s-pen. So if you are considering buying a renewed tablet, I think celltraders are a pretty good option.

What I received was a tablet in good condition, but it was missing the S-Pen, USB charging cable, and charging brick—the very things that made this tablet worth buying in the first place.Let me be clear: the S-Pen is not an optional accessory for me; it’s essential for the reason I bought the tablet—to take notes and do digital artwork. Its absence rendered the tablet pretty much useless for my needs. But that’s not where the frustration ends.When I reached out to Amazon's customer service, I was shocked to learn that the only solution they could offer was to return the entire tablet for a full refund. This was not only inconvenient but entirely unnecessary. The tablet itself works perfectly fine, and the only issue was with the missing accessories. Why should I have to jump through hoops to return a product that’s otherwise fine just because Amazon failed to include the accessories I paid for? I asked for a simple solution—send me the missing parts or offer a partial refund—but that was met with blanket policy answers and no flexibility.This is beyond disappointing. As a long-time Amazon customer, I expected far better, but this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Amazon prides itself on customer service, but when it comes to actually fixing a simple problem, they seem completely uninterested in making it right. Instead, they hide behind rigid policies that don’t account for individual customer needs or situations.I would have loved to recommend this tablet, but between the missing accessories and the infuriating customer service, I can’t. I recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 to a refurbished Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, taking advantage of the cost savings. So far, I have been very impressed with the S8 Plus. The large screen, refresh rate, processing speed, and touch response have all exceeded my expectations.While the tablet is in good condition, there is a small nick in the screen's left-hand corner. Although it doesn’t obstruct the view, it remains a minor irritation. Additionally, I've noticed that the speakers on the S8 Plus are not as robust as those on the Tab A8.One of the standout features for me is the Dex mode, and it allows me to use the tablet as an extra screen for my laptop. I also purchased a keyboard case, and I find that it provides a great alternative to carrying my more expensive laptop around.Though I initially thought the larger screen would be convenient, I've realized I prefer the more manageable size of the Tab A8 and wish I had opted for the standard Tab S8 instead.Overall, despite the small screen issue, I’m very pleased with my purchase. I rate the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus a solid four stars due to the nick in the screen, but everything else has been excellent.
