i have several of these and they are great for fishing poles or any similar sized storage. We use them at home, at work, and in the RV.

Holds rods perfectly
Modified this to fit on the rear edges of my bass boat to hold my rods more secure while fishing different rigs. Worked perfectly for this application but I know it would work on a wall as designed too.
