Immediate Noticeable Difference
Bought this for my home to deal with questionable city water. Sometimes it tastes weird/like chlorine and will leave our bathtub, sinks and toilets a wreck. Not to mention the horrible calcium build-up in the lines needed dealt with. After spending roughly $50 in parts (PVC), I set to work. The installation only took maybe two hours while taking my time. I also needed to reverse the flow of the filters, which the instructions to do so are provided. I've got to say, after everything was said and done, I was impressed with the immediate difference in the taste of my water. I had some of the "old stuff" just in case I needed it, and compared to drinking the water after the filtration system, the old stuff smelled and tasted like I was drinking water straight from a pool. After the filtration system? It actually tastes like nice refreshing water. Not only this, but I swear my skin feels better after showering to boot. The only hiccup I experienced was that one of the gauges wasn't working initially, but after a suggestion from customer support I found out it was 1 turn too tight. All gauges work correctly once I loosened it a full turn. While it may be too early to give it an honest, long-term review, I'm impressed with it so far. If you're looking to improve your water quality, you can't go wrong with this system.

Whole House Express Water Filtration
The Express Water Filtration System is a substantial, well made, and hopefully an efficient filtration system. It was installed three days ago, so Iโll know more as time goes on. I had a plumber install it, (Copper pipe) but it looked fairly straight forward. Iโve seen DIY people on YouTube install with PVC which should work fine. My reason for purchasing this filtration unit was to remove mainly Chlorine from my newly repiped house. Chlorine can affect the interior of copper pipes, so Iโm told. I called the Express Company with a few questions and found them to be friendly and extremely helpful. Be aware the filters (3) last from 6 mo - 1 yr and can be purchased through Amazon. The 3 filters cost over $100 together, so fingers crossed, Iโll only have to replace them yearly. The unit has 3 pressure gauges so you can monitor how each filter is doing and replace them accordingly. The gauges were my main reason for choosing Express over the competition. I rarely drink tap water, so I canโt help you there, but Iโm hoping the spots on glasses coming out of the dishwasher diminish and overall scale becomes less of an issue, not to mention algae, heavy metals, sediment, and several unwanted chemicals. I may offer an evaluation update after living with this system for a month or two.

Just buy it! Worth every penny!
We have well water that smells horrible. I have struggled for the past few years with the smell and it was also very embarrassing when people would visit and make comments on what smelled so bad. I would even gag when brushing my teeth. We have also spent so much money on gallons and bottles of water. We have a water softener but it didnโt make a difference with the hard water. Within minutes of this being installed we had absolutely no smell and could drink the water from the tap. I actually enjoy taking a shower now also. The plumber we had install it said it could take a week before we noticed a difference but I could tell instantly. I wish we purchased this two years ago when we built our house. If you are unsure if this is a quality system, let me tell you it absolutely is. It is worth every single penny and I we will also save so much money on not having to buy bottles and gallons of water. It also filters out the iron so our toilets donโt have stains. Seriously buy this. You will not regret it.

Works Great
We moved from city water to a rural water district in Oklahoma. We were told to not expect great water from the rural water district so we bought the โUltimateโ model of this well rated filter. I was surprised at the size of this! Second picture has a size 11 shoe for reference. I canโt speak to the install as I had the plumber overcharge me for installing it. But I can say that our water is better now than it was in the city. It tastes better and is soft with no issues. I love that it has gauges to tell you the water pressure so you can see if it falls with a used filter. I also love that the last filter housing is clear so you can see its cleanliness. I also love that I can change the filters when needed myself. We have three refrigerators that each take a filter that cost $50, but I think with this thing, I can forgo the fridge filters all together and just replace these when needed! So really the cost of the replacement filters at $189 for the set, might just save me money. With the fridge wanting a new filter every 6 months (Wife Enforced), that would be $300 a year and I believe this will last a year. It says it is good for 100,000 gallons which is about a year of use. And now even my toilet water is filteredโฆ. If you need that.

WATER TASTES AND FEELS GREAT!
This water system is fantastic. Our town likes to chlorinate the water aggressively every so often to the point you can smell it when the water is running, let alone taste it. This system has taken out all the impurities in our water and it now tastes amazing and no longer has the chlorinated smell. Our showers and toilets stay cleaner longer and are easier to clean. The system was easy to install for a DIY'er such as myself. The cartridges are a bit messy to change but only appear to need done about once a year in our case. Recommend not installing this in an area you don't want to get wet while changing out filter. I am in the process of designing a catch drain to mount to the bottom of the unit to catch spilled water and have it drain to a 5-gal bucket.

Great water now
I've waited 4 months before reviewing. Installation in my case was a breeze, because my house had a traditional softener system in it previously when it was built, but when I bought the house, the previous owners had gotten rid of it about 10 years or so before selling the house. Fine by me, the salt-based softeners all have something in them that cause my eyes to swell up and close when I wash my face or shower/bathe in that water, and my skin to break out in red hives. I was looking for something else to alleviate the hard water spot woes in southeast Tennessee. Let me tell ya, this filtration unit is fantastic! No skin or eye issues, the water doesn't feel slick or slimy like with a salt-based unit. I've also already noticed that some of the hard water build up from the last ten years, even on the Glas shower doors has started to dissolve. In some spots and on some faucets, after about two months, I was able to scrape it off with a finger nail and a little force. Clothes in the washer are coming out fresher now, my sinks are easier to clean, the taste of the water is now fresh and fantastic! I will say, for the first month and a half or so, it tasted a little like a drinking water from a new hose in the yard, but I think that may have been the pipes and plumbing set up I had to add in order to hook it up. Now though, it's great! I sent a water quality report and a photo of the water pressure reading to their customer service from my utility company and they replied back after a few days and said I should get the 100,000 gallons or so use from all three filters. At that rate, my family will be on the first set for a year (I'll replace them annually, even though we won't hit 100,000 gallons). When installing, look at the diagrams, don't forget to make a bypass for when you change the filters, so if you have an issue, you can default to direct utility water. I had to get creative with some extra 90 degree joints, small sections of pex, and layering some pipes next to each other to fit the tight squeeze of the gap in my pipes, but it was very easy to do. I drew out a diagram of what I needed and bought a couple extra sticks of pex and pex to pvc adapters, just in case. If you have pex, you will need a pex to pvc adapter, the areas to thread into the filtration usit should be PVC, I tried a pex threaded one and it dripped for a day, then tried with the pex to pvc threaded adapter and it stopped leaking and has worked perfectly since then! This filtration system will most likely last for years and years so long as I change the filters as suggested and my garage never gets cold enough for a hard freeze, which I doubt it ever well. The design is great. I've had several neighbors who saw the box by the curb when I first got it wait, and then ask after a while how I like the filtration system. I've shown them the setup and shared the link, and I know of at least one that is getting one as well. I was worried about water plants with it, but they have thrived all summer, and I have no complaints as of yet! Seems very durable and I'll update this review if any issues ever pop up.

Extremely good value and water sample proved it works!
My wife and I bought this because we have a lot of problems with our well water. Heavy metals and scale was our biggest issue. Mostly we have problem with arsenic at 12 PPB and our lead was a little bit high as well as our magnesium. Put this in and ran the filter for a couple of days. Send a water sample in and also use test strips to check it. Unbelievably so, our heavy metals are now undetectable and our scale is improving now. Our well passed after installing this filter for the whole house and no loss of flow. We coupled this with a softener on the downstream side and now our water is incredibly good. After much frustration and being worried about our well, we now have confidence in our home water. Was very easy to install, you will not be disappointed with this.

Review after 1 year, by a plumber for 12+ years. THE REVIEW YOU WANT TO READ!!
****I'm am a plumber for 12+ years now. Review after a year. Must read**** Was looking for somthing for my house (city water) to benefit all my appliances, specially my navien tankless, as well as all you're usual appliances. As well as me and the family. Was going back and forth on very expensive systems and lower end. And always keped coming back this this brand. I'm am not payed by the c.o. Just sharing my experiences so far. I'm going to go right down the line. In no order. Some being much top tear. *I have noticed, showers you feel cleaner. *baths for the kids, soaps more soapier. * water much clearer. *fish tank maintenance, water can be used straight out the tap without conditioners. *washer, and dishwasher, (higher end lg front load and dishwasher) don't smell as much/ berry little from sitting. * faucets, shower head ends. Less build up on the end just from standard buildup. * i am a car guy with detailing, 100% +++ soaps much better both normal and my pressure washer with the foam cannon. Basicly a 3 stage, spot free rince you have. Cars are much cleaner. *pressure washing the house, not much but definitely makes a small difference. More so on windows. * i do water the lawn alot in the summer, just switch the house on bi pass is temporarily and good to go. *wife will water her plants( not many just pots and what not) she claimed to be just more fuller. * drinking the water, you don't feel as thirsty, wanting more. I'm on a roof during the summer and my 1 gallon yetti staying ice cold. I don't seem to go back more to want more. Now when I run out and just fill it up on the job sight. It's night and day difference of just wanting more. I'm sure I have more thinking on it but worth the by.
