This review is for Tiger Balm Red Extra Strength Net Wt. 0.63 OZ (18g). Order received August 01, 2020 with no damage or issues. Expiration date on bottom of the jar and packaging is marked as 07 2023. In the box, in addition to the jar, is a slip of paper with links to Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest for those who want to connect more with the product, it’s manufactures and users. The slip also repeats the directions for use as is printed on the jar as well. This particular item is produced under license in Singapore and distributed by Prince of Peace Ent of Livermore, CA. The jar has an easy to remove safety plastic wrap. Opening the jar, I found the aroma to be much milder than I anticipated. For me, the aroma is milder and more pleasant than Jointflex pain relief cream, which advertises 3.1% Camphor. After application and passage of less than five minutes the feeling of tingly heat is unmistakable. After about 15 minutes, there is a palpable reduction in pain. This balm is priced competitively and ships fast. Buying at Amazon saved me time and money. I am concerned that longtime users complain the product is changed. Since this is the first use for me, if it works then that's all I need to know. I am also experimenting to see if it is effective for my condition, which is not list as a remedy of the product. If it works for that, I will be eternally grateful, if not, the search will continue. In the meantime the product has an unmistakable aroma that is between pleasant and tolerable. Others may find it objectionable. I am surprised that it actually worked for the relief of joint pain caused by exercise and physical activity.

This is a life saver with and pain you have. I suffer from knee pain and this helps so much. It doesnt have a bad smell it works wonders

TL;DR: Tiger Balm Red smells fantastic, feels really nice, and works shockingly well. Yes, it's a tiny tub—but it spreads well, so you don't need much. Great for easing injury pain or just slathering on sore muscles & joints. Highly recommended. The Long Version: I started using this last year during Nutcracker, and it's become a component of the essential gear that goes with me to every rehearsal and performance. I honestly didn't expect it even to approach living up to its reputation, but it works brilliantly for me. I have an unstable sacroiliac joint that throws a fit when it's out of alignment & causes a kind of relentless, nagging pain when I sit or lie down. Tiger Balm Red knocks the edge right off and often shuts it up entirely. I can't express what a difference that makes! I've also used it on strains, sprains, and just plain sore muscles. I like to apply it just before bed—the scent is soothing, too. I was delighted to find this on Subscribe & Save, because it's rather pricey in shops, assuming you can find it at all. Has a bit of a cinammony scent, so those with cinnamon sensitivity might want to use caution.

This product is a strong rub that works quickly on my battered knee. It does not sting, but it sends a level of warmth that reassures me that it is working. The pain relief is short in coming. I find the aroma to be quite soothing too. My wish, however, is that the jar could have been larger.

This is a small jar, but a little goes a long way. The relief for sore muscles is very good. I have muscular dystrophy and this product does provide relief. I don't notice much of a warming effect, but the relief lasts a long time. It also has a very pleasant smell.
