My 6 year old son's Super Mario phase is still going. While I'm not a big fan of "stuffed animals" that typically sit in a corner and collect dust, I'm ok with this line of 5 to 10 inch "plushes" because they're smaller and they get used as both toys and bed-buddies. They're a good size that don't take up too much room. I'm happy with and have been sticking to the Little Buddy brand since the ones we have are colorful, made well, take playful abuse and are genuine-looking (and I like to keep things uniform). Their prices vary depending on the character (approx $12 to $20+). My opinion is the one's that are $16+ are a bit too expensive. I'll keep them coming selectively for a while since his excitement in not knowing which character will join the bunch next and their frequent use makes them worth it....His nightly ritual did consist of gathering each one up and surrounding himself with them at bedtime, but since his collection grew, we try to keep the bed count to about 5.
