Masonite Castlegate Brown Bulb Snap-in Door Sweep (36" Door, 35.625" L x W)

Installed new Jeldwen door and frame (fiberglass) about 3 yrs ago. Door sweep had worn and jeldwen sent replacement, would not fit as was about 1/8 fins too long and even adjusting thresh lowest position still could not close door. This one fits perfectly like the one sent with new door and even same off white brown color as original. I plan to order several more and just keep as these like this are impossible to find.

I bought this OEM replacement for the gasketing under my Masonite 32” garage access door. While I thought that I would have to take the door off of its hinges, I was surprised to find a YouTube video that indicated that this might not be necessary. I simply opened the door, gently pried off the damaged part, slipped the new gasket In place and shut the door. Job done!!!! 👍🏻

Part was delivered damaged but it was obviously caused by shipping company due to packaging damage and part damaged at the same point. Replacement was quickly delivered and the part fit perfectly on door.

This was an exact match to the one I had on my prehung door from a big box store. Which they didn’t carry by the way. I just carefully used a screwdriver to pry out the old one but it most came out by hand. I slid the one under the door and pressed it into the grooves. Where it didn’t go in all the way I slid the screw driver under the door for leverage. I then had to tap it into place with a hammer because it slightly out to far from the edge. Perfect. Brand new looking door. I seems to match the quality of the original on the door so we will see how it lasts. I did have to raise the threshold slightly so maybe it wasn’t as thick as the original but it works great after a few weeks.

Door sweep was a hair short for what I needed. Made adjustments to make it work, but would recommend going 1 size up, just to make sure you have enough, which can be cut to size.

This snap on sweep ripped in 2 different areas where it was hanging and had to be cut off!

Worked perfectly

This door sweep was easy to install and is very similar quality to the sweep that was on my Masonite door. Watch the installation video before installing. The hardest part is removing the old door sweep.
