Beetles Builder Gel for Nails with Gel Base and Top Coat Set 3Pcs

I cannot say enough good things about this product. I wish there was a way to give it more than 5 stars to fully emphasize how much I love it. I work on a horse farm and have a few horses of my own. My nails have also been incredibly thin and easy to end of break. Because of this I have always had uneven and short nails as they were constantly breaking no matter what I did. I tried the semi-cured stickers and press-on's but those never seemed to last. They would work for a week or so before they started lifting and fell off. This stuff lasts me over 3 weeks and it finally redo the nails, not because the builder get is falling off but because I have to fill in the regrowth at my nail beds! I will say the "soak off" feature is not quick and fool proof. I have read a lot of advice pages and watched a lot of videos before trying this. I file off as much of the builder gel until I think I am pretty close to my natural nail. Then I soak it for a while, generally 10+ minutes. It does not completely scrap right off after that and if I am not careful it will pull up some of my nail if I try to force it to scrape off. One of the best things you can do is watch lots of videos on technique of the application. I found lots of videos that explained how to get the proper shape/apex and smooth finish rather than the wavy finish you get if it is not laid smooth. The first time or two was a learning curve for sure. I had to remind myself that I am not "on the clock" it does not cure until you use the UV light so if it needs adjusted before that, do it! It is extremely easy to use and finishes very nicely once you get the hand of it! First I buff my nails and use nail polish remover or isopropyl alcohol to dehydrate the nails. Then I used the base coat and cure it. Then add a "slip" layer of the builder gel. DO NOT CURE. before curing that, add a bead of builder gel, starting at the cuticle and pulling it out in a semi circle towards the end of your nail. I hold my nail upside down to allow it to level. If you need it to move one way or the other, just hold you nail one way or the other and let gravity do the work! After that I cure it for 60-90 seconds. I read that one way to reduce lifting of the builder gel is to file at an angle under the builder gel to file the natural nail. I do that and then if i need to I use nail polish remover to get any dust off the stickiness of the builder gel. I also read somewhere that it can be recommended to use the same brand gel color as the brand if the base coat, builder gel, and top coat. I ordered a pack of a few different beetles gel polish colors and apply one of those next. I cure it. Then I apply top gel and cure that. I have been learning a lot and by no means am I a professional but I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles to get some of the techniques which really helped! The polish looks sturdy and shiny, I generally apply a color but the clear is also perfect for adding strength and shine to your nails!

I have never had press on nails last me for two weeks without lifting at all. I use Beetles UV gel glue & this dehydrator and primer turns it into concrete. I busted a nail the other morning and the thing totally bent backwards and tore apart and did not come off of my nail!!!

This Beetles base and top coat set works great for at-home gel manicures! The base coat applies smoothly and gives the gel polish a nice foundation, while the no-wipe top coat leaves a beautiful glossy finish. Both bottles are a generous 15ml size, and a little product goes a long way. They cure nicely under an LED lamp and help my manicure look smooth and polished. I especially love not having to wipe off a sticky layer after the top coat. Great set to keep with your nail supplies! ✨💕

I really liked this base and top coat set. The base applies smoothly and the top coat gives a beautiful glossy finish. It cures well under the lamp and is easy to use. My gel polish looks more professional and lasts much better. I would definitely buy it again.

I’ve loved this set however just make sure you only use it with beetle products. Also make sure you dry it really well longer than it says or else it’ll just fall off

Astonishing base adhesion. Top notch. No issues at all. Buff/file your nail ridges smooth and remove all oil from your nails before applying the base coat. Top coat is high-shine, durable, appropriately flexible to reduce chipping, crystal clear, no-wipe, non-tacky, professional-grade finish. It enhances the appearance of cat’s eye effects. The top coat offers fantastic protection and glossy.

Really really resistant. It’s like super glue! The first time using it Ripped off some side of my nail trying to take it off and make it straight (oooops). 10/10 the glue

I'm not an expert nail artist. Just another person trying to save money while still feeling good, probably like many of you reading this review. I can't speak to whether this is professional quality because I'm not a licensed professional. What I can say is, it's worked great for me. When I first started doing my own nails I used false tips and full coverage fake nails, and it was ridiculous the number of hours I'd spend every couple weeks trying to do a new set. They also destroyed my nails, which was probably also because I had no idea what I was doing, I will admit. But it was just annoying also. I just really wanted to grow my own nails and started researching the best way to do that. My nails grow fast, but break easy. Things like biotin and other nail vitamins didn't do much for strength. I bought this product because I was low on base and top coats and wanted to try Builder Gel to see how it might help. It definitely does. These are my natural nails thanks to Beetles Builder Gel. I recently bought a new product to try by a different brand, hoping it might save even a little more time. But if it doesn't work, I'll be back for more builder gel in a bottle from Beetles. My routine became much easier. File, base, builder, color, top. No need to mess with glue and tips and all that junk. I've not had any peeling or chipping with beetles builder or top coats. The only improvement I would make is the brush shape. I'm trying another brand that has more of a paddle brush that I love, it just makes application a bit easier, but this product is far from bad. It's lasted me several color changes and I'm just now needing to buy more after probably 6 to 8 months of changing my nails every two to three weeks. So definitely a good deal with this set of base, builder, and top coats.
