Strong holding power
I've used Pony products in the past. The spring clamps are up to par with Pony quality. They appear very well made & definitely have a strong hold.

Not for delicate bonding
Too strong for my small hands and too strong to hold the delicate pieces that I bond. My husband is using them though so it's not a total loss.

Worked as I had hoped!
Boy do they "bite" and cling tightly. This is because of the very robust spring system used. I read some comments about how difficult it was to grip it to open but my 62 y/o female small fingers had no problem doing that. I don't think you can have "soft" springs and yet expect the clip to cling tightly. I have a small work table so I needed to remove my small work lamp out of the work are. Instead I used 2 clips (4") to hold it at the edge of my table. It's been working for me.

Strong Clamps
Stronger clamps than others I have tried. For obvious reasons, they take more hand grip strength to open but worth it as the trade off is a stronger hold.

These are great multi purpose clamps, I use them for many different things.

Disappearing clamps
I needed some clamps, and they appear to be good clamps. Clamps are like Tupperware lids. They disappear and these clamps will be on the garage shelf and sooner or later disappear.

Clamps
I use these clamps to hold my quilts in place while I baste them. The rubber on the end protect the quilt. I love them.
