$10 Dryer fix
I have a Maytage Performa washer and dryer that are about 18 years old. Dryer stopped working last week after having family in town. After tearing it all apart I traced the problem to the smaller thermal fuse using my multimeter testing for continuity. This was one of the best prices for the part I could find. Popped the new one in today and works fine again. Only ended up needing one so no I have an extra for each thermostat. Very pleased that I was able to fix for $10 rather than going out and spending a few $100 on a new machine.

Part works perfectly. Saved me a lot of money!
The part worked. I could buy two of them and still have change compared to the best price I can find locally. The part came in a few days. The part is easy to install. The whole job takes about 10-15 minutes. There are videos out there that can guide a novice step-by-step. Everything works fine. You can save a lot of money doing it yourself rather than calling the repair dude.

Great LA-1053 Dryer thermal fuse replacement kit
Our dryer stopped working after 17 years. Now 17 years is a long time, so I was OK with the prospect of needing to buy a new dryer. However as a last ditch effort I searched the web for possible causes why the dryer might have stopped working, for no apparent reason. A few YouTube trouble shooting tutorials later I had determined that the dryer's thermal fuse had blown. Since the repair looked relatively straight forward I figured I would get the replacement parts and give it a try. I figured for under $15 why not, and the GARP solution look like a good replacement option (was looking for a LA-1053 kit). With Prime the kit arrived in two days. In literally 15 minutes I had the thermal fuse and thermostat replaced. Turned on the dryer and it was back in business like nothing had ever happened. One of the quickest DIY jobs and saved a few hundred dollars postponing the purchase of a new dryer for another 17 years ;) The GARP replacement kit provided a perfect substitute parts for my Dryer.

Not the greatest quality.
The smaller fuse worked fine, but the large fuse broke while I was removing the wire to reposition it. Luckily I just needed the smaller fuse.

I wish it had worked...
It actually did not work on the old Amana dryer that I was trying to fix, because it was not the original thermostat that I needed (which is not found anywhere anymore). But that is not the seller's fault. I tried to fix it with this similar looking thermostat, but it just did not work.
