Mehron Hair White, Temporary Hair Paint for Old Age SFX

My beard and hair is mostly white, I just need to touch up some areas. This stuff works perfect when I do Santa for my family. It covers up the non white areas and blends in well. Easy to apply, washes out.

I use this to cover some left over red in my santa beard. Works great and stays in for many hours.

Use it in my beard. It does get stiff and flakes out some. Works for what I need though. Easy to wash out.

Works great to make eye brows and mustache, match in with Santa costume (matches Santa wig and beard set perfectly). Washes off with a little water and a cloth rag (or paper towels).

This colorant is very thin like water. The application brush is tiny and it took several layers to achieve the white we were looking for. In the end I dumped it my hands an rubbed it into the beard and it still was a light grayish shade rather than white.

I will admit that this review comes after I'd been using Ben Nye's Snow White for 3 years. I saw this on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try and I am SO UNHAPPY with it. I am a professional Mrs. Claus and I use this to whiten my hair around the wig cap and my eye brows. This product is very thin/watery. So it doesn't go on well, it drips, it doesn't cover well and it takes FOREVER to dry. It washes off very easily... which is not necessarily a good thing. It got all over my glasses and any slight sweating or getting caught in the rain and it would be a disaster. I even left the cap off of it hoping it would thicken up a little. After two coats on my eyebrows, they are still very dark. With Ben Nye I would stiple the paint in a bit with an stiff paintbrush. When I did it with this, it just smeared and wiped off. It didn't paint the hairs on my brows so that they still looked like hairs. It just stuck to my skin and I looked like a clown. I don't know if I'd have given it a better review if I used it first, but after using a really good quality product, I have to give this a one and recommend you choose Ben Nye.

I used this paint to mimic Santa for a couple friends and their kids; all parties loved the look. The only issues I had is how long it took to apply, and how messy application was. The bottle cap has an attached brush - a brush similar to nail polish. This product would have been better served with a longer, wider brush, similar to an eyebrow brush. To apply this, I would "paint" sections and then use a plastic rattail comb to comb it through to gain consistent coverage. This process worked well, and once applied it didn't come off easily until I took a shower, and then it literally rinsed off.
