SAMSUNG Official Galaxy Watch Fast Wireless Charger (USB-C) - Black (EP-OR900BBEGWW)

I tried using an off brand dual watch/phone charger and eventually either the cord or charging plug failed to charge my watch (and sometimes phone), even though when I plugged them it, they both indicated they were charging. Nothing worse than waking up to a watch (or phone) that did not charge over night! I ordered this OEM watch charger and found a dual USB charging plug and now both my watch and phone are charging as they should. Pricier than off branded ones, but you get what you pay for.

This official Samsung Galaxy watch charger works perfectly, as it should. Charges fast and never gets hot. I have left it on the charger and forgotten to take the watch off after charging before bed and it never did anything to my watch. I was skeptical at first, but nothing has ever happened. This is a top notch watch charger. I plug it into one of my Samsung Galaxy C-charging plugs. Maybe that makes a difference?

My Samsung watch came with a charger, but I wanted a second one that I could keep in my carry on bag for traveling. This cord works perfectly! The cord is the same length as the original, and it has the same strong magnet to attach to my watch. Excellent design!

Ok, I've read the reviews for this watch charger and I will try to help resolve unanswered questions about compatibility and authenticity. Ok, first thing is yes, this is compatible with the Samsung Watch8, as that's what I have and it charges just as quickly as the OEM charger I received with my watch. From 42% to 82% in about 20 minutes. Next, there are some reviews that question the authenticity of this charger. Does it have the Samsung name blatantly stamped on the top/botton/sides of the charging pad. No. However, that doesn't mean that it's not a genuine OEM Samsung product. It appears that Samsung is following Apple's design of imprinting in very small and inconspicuous labeling directly onto the cable. Close inspection with a magnifying glass reveals (reading from USB-C towards charging pad) the following: Model # Samsung Voltage & Amp rating Made in Vietnam FCC ID some other number Serial Number So, from what I can see, this appears to be a genuine Samsung OEM charger at a great price.

This works amazing to charge my watch. I bought 2. One for my living room and one for the bed room, and the original one that came with the watch I keep in my car. The cord length is great, not to long and not to short. I did not have any issues with it over heating at any time. The durability of the charge is its pretty tough and will last a long time.

It looks identical to the original charger that came with my watch, except for the fact that the cable is an inch or so shorter (about the diameter of the charging magnet). It's negligible. I tested and compared the original with this product, and the remaining time for fully charging each came back precisely the same. I don't know if that proves it is genuine, however. I've only used this product once, but it works just like a genuine Samsung watch charger. There are cheaper ones out there, but I am happy that I picked this one. It's still more affordable than buying one from Samsung.
