This meter is highly adaptable to many situations. I particularly liked the temperature measuring function and the additional universal test leads allowing for a mix-and-match of probe-end types which are threaded into the lead-ends making this meter highly adaptable to take wide variety of accurate measurements in many situations. This meter has a greater functionality than I have a need to use at this time, so I can't comment on all of the different functions it's capable of that I haven't used. So, in "Pro's" column for price, functionality, and accuracy, it's a great bargain. In the "Con's" column this meter is physically smaller and lighter in construction than I would normally work with - comfortably, which is less about the meter, perhaps, and more about my preferences when working with or on anything electrical. This meter for me is perfect for testing and designing on my work bench and has more functions than I need, so far. In a commercial or industrial setting, where I spent most of my time working with electrical equipment, I would be less comfortable and would default to the industry standard and spend $200+. I needed to check the DC amperage for my camper's battery charger and inverter. The clamp on probe and auto ranging of this unit makes it easy to use. It's also small enough with a back lite display to carry in my camper while on the road.

First off let me just say that this thing is Tiny. The person that does the videos on YouTube and on Amazon must be a midget because in order for those hands to make this unit look big they must be some tiny midget hands. That being said. I ordered this unit kind of more as a backup unit to my fluke meter. Admittedly I must say , It was more of a cool Factor order than anything else. The large LED screen and all the bells and whistles really got my attention. BUT....... After putting it through some trials, LIKE.... checking my AC start run capacitor, using the Live Wire feature and the ncv feature, swapping out a few light switches for smart switches with it, Etc, this turned out to be a pretty functional accurate Little meter. Build quality wise, is it close to a fluke or a higher end meter? NOOOO.... I have dropped my fluke more times than I can remember from varying Heights and it took it like a champ every time. Do I think this meter would be able to withstand drops? Probably not... Okay Of course not! Obviously if you are an electrician or someone that uses a meter on a daily basis then this meter would not work for you. But if you're a hobbyist or a Home user or some that does projects around the house or garage that may require a meter then this meter is great. Easy to read for those with vision problems, the audio beeps are fairly loud and easy to distinguish. The pickup on the "auto" detect function to switch between volts amps, microfarads , current Etc is fairly fast surprisingly. Also a very cool feature to have because it saves you time having to switch between the functions manually.. I did shave off a point because of the cheaply made non-padded carrying case / bag that it comes in . Cannot speak to the longevity of the unit but out of the box I can recommend it.. 👍👍👍 Up..

Works well, and for the price, I don't think you could find a better meter.

Do not buy. Cheap! Cheap! Cheap! Does not work. Useless! Clamp head does not detect any voltage/amperage. Description says alot device does very little. Very cheap materials, poor plastic not fit for tools, equipment not even for toys. Only good for display shelf, maybe not. Test leads not fit for use involving anything electrical. Scary! Poor quality. Far from pro-grade less than no-grade. I tried very hard to like it but it didn't work. Should be taken off Amazon.
