Function LT engines are becoming more and more popular for swaps. Unfortunately, stock LT oil pans can't always fit where you want them to. That's where Our low-profile, retro fit oil pan comes in. Composed of lightweight cast aluminum, it is designed to allow for increased clearance to the ground and chassis. Note Engine position (fore/aft or height) may need to be adjusted for clearance, depending on application; Requires the use of LT style dipstick and tube: GM #12661062 and 12678823, respectively, Pan does not have boss for temperature sensor. Clearly these people donโt know what they are doing. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WORKING ON A GEN V LT BASED ENGINE FOR THIS OIL PAN. THIS PAN IS NOT FOR THE LS ENGINE. It uses an RTV to seal it, not a gasket. There are 2 o-rings for the pan at the oil filter end, and one oblong o-ring to seal the oil pump to the pan-both included. The pan fit well for me. No issues at allโฆ.im using it in a 2004 Mustang with an L86 engine and a Team Z k-member and custom made engine mounts Review: Provided good clearance - Provided good clearance on a new 1974 K5 build using the Offroad Design crossmember. The dowel pin holes are not the correct diameter. Factory pins are .313 and the holes in this pan are .25.

Not as described.
This isnt the correct part as its written it doesn't fit a LT motor it will not seal due to not have grove that LT Motors have and the LS gaskets that comes with it os useless. Would really like a refund.

Great cheap LT swap pan
Fits great! Don't pay attention to the other reviews, if you know how to work on your car. The LT engines are silicone sealed, so trying to find a gasket to work is going to be a problem. It comes with everything needed to do a swap. It is shaped like the LS low profile pans. With all that said, my one complaint is the oil dipstick on the driver side of the engine. I haven't tried using the factory one yet, but assume it won't work.
