Patio Deck Box Cover

Living in Florida, I know how harsh the sun can be on outdoor plastic, so I immediately wanted to protect my new XXL 230-gallon Keter deck box. This cover, while feeling quite thin initially, has proven to be surprisingly effective. It's completely waterproof, as I confirmed during our frequent rainstorms, and it does a great job of shielding the deck box from the elements. While the material feels lightweight, it has held up well over the few months I've had it, and I haven't noticed any fading of the color despite the strong Florida sun. Although UV protection isn't explicitly mentioned, its waterproof nature likely offers some level of sun blockage, which is what I was hoping for. The cover has a very snug fit, which means it stays securely in place even during strong thunderstorms without any flapping in the wind – a great trade-off for it being a little less convenient to take on and off. It doesn't seem to be breathable, but the open bottom should allow for enough airflow to prevent significant moisture buildup inside. Cleaning has been easy; I just spray it down with the hose when it gets dirty, and it comes right clean. I'm happy the cover is taking the brunt of the dirt instead of the deck box itself. For anyone wanting to extend the life of their Keter deck box in a sunny and rainy climate like Florida, this cover seems like a worthwhile investment.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this cover. The fabric feels sturdy and well-made, with strong seams and a good fit. It protects my storage box from rain, dirt, and sun without looking bulky or cheap. Exactly what I wanted — functional, simple, and reliable.

Good quality, fits our deck box perfectly!

I got this cover for my Yitahome XXL 230 storage box. The dimensions are a fraction of an inch bigger than the dimensions of my box. The box is 57.9 x 32.3 x 33.7. I got the 58x33x34 cover. I was worried that it wouldn't be large enough but it fits easily enough once I got the interior lining unstuck. Yes, it's folded so that the interior lining (silver foil) is all folded together. It unsticks okay but it took me a couple of minutes to get it completely undone. My only real complaint is that I was planning to use the draw strings to keep it in place but realistically they don't work. You can pull a couple of inches but I'm afraid to pull any more than that. I'll probably just keep a heavy weight (rocks) on top when it's in use. Not overly thick but I have no reason at this point to believe it won't be durable.

Love this cover. It's just a shame that I can't seem to hang on to them long enough to see how long they last. It covers the battery box on my floating dock, and due to my lack of attention, they keep sailing away. It's just too bad that they are no longer available.

This cover was the perfect fit. It is very durable, it set out all winter on our back deck still looks like new. The Velcro straps are very useful for keeping the cover on during high winds and rain.

This box is perfect for keeping pillows near my outdoor furniture. It keeps 10+ pillows dry in heavy rain storms. The box is sufficiently presentable to keep it behind my chase lounges. Easy to assemble and use.

No strap in the cover. I specifically choosed this one for that reason. Disappointed.

Does the job, fits perfectly over my garden cushion holder box

Size dots my deck box pretty well even though it is not a regular size deck box having rounded corners. A little extra to spare works just fine. It covers well and is easy to remove with the straps sown into the cover. All in all it is great.

The material is fairly thick and strong. It fits over my deck box perfectly. Because it’s waterproof, it keeps my deck box dry and away from UV rays. When the cover is removed, my item is nice and clean, with no dirt, rain marks or bird poop. There’s a string at the bottom to tighten the cover to prevent it from blowing off. There are handles on each end to help with removal, which is easy to do. It also folds up very easily while it’s not in use. I have purchased covers for all of my patio furniture and tables. Because I have 18 different covers, here’s a couple of tips: I bought a deck box dedicated to storing them all in when I have company over. To keep track of which cover goes on which item, I put labels inside waterproof card holders and attached them to each cover’s strings. When the time comes to cover everything back up, it’s a simple process. It also makes it easier for friends to help, since they can simply read the label.
