Great device, works best with hard cover brooks, but also is effective with paperback. Using the book cover and some pages for thickness really helps. 3 different light colors, I like to use the warm setting, and different brightness settings for each. Perfect product for reading in the dark.

For years, I have been struggling with a neck reading light. First of all, it is uncomfortable. Then, the light is uneven and doesn't illuminate a whole page. The other day I decided to see what else was out there. I came upon the 86Lux Pocket E1 book light. It was a game changer! I can't believe that this compact, lightweight, well-designed little item turned out to be everything I ever wanted in a book light! It weighs nothing, it is not awkward, it is easy to use, and once you slide it onto the book, you can move and adjust the light and change the brightness. It illuminates the whole page evenly. Don't waste your time with anything else!

I needed a light when reading at night. I really love it. Has multiple brightness and different types of light modes. It’s very light and compact. I like how you can adjust the angle of the light. I ve had different lights that I used to read at night. This is the best by far. Plus it’s not expensive.

I used this for several hours ( at night ) every day for a week before I noticed a change in the brightness of this book light and then I had to charge it. It's very convenient and there is several lighting options. High and low and three different color variations. It does what I expected it to do very well it clips on and holds well and you can adjust the direction of the light. I would say it's good quality but time will tell. I read alot of books so I will put this to the test. I had a light wedge before and it was good, but very clumsy and you had to move it every time you turn a page and it slips all over the place and fell out alot. This new one is very versatile. You clip it on and read away!

Not only does this book light fit better than my old one, but it also doesn't need batteries! Being able to charge a book light instead of always needing batteries is so much better. The adjustment of the light is super easy, flexible, and I love that it has different light settings. I prefer a white light while some may prefer a soft light while reading. Not only can you adjust those settings but you can also have it super bright or dim. No assembly required. Just need to charge it.

This light stays securely on my book and the swivel top allows me to aim the light where I need it. It’s rechargeable and the charge lasts a long time. There are different brightness choices too.

I was skeptical before but it definitely delivers! Much better than using my phone light at night. Great quality materials, came charged, and it’s lightweight. Love that the light can bend up, down, or side to side. No assembly required other than plugging it into a USB port if it needs to charge. Love that it has settings for warm light, neutral, cool light, and is dimmable. My husband is happier too

This light is amazing. It has 3 different shades of light, it also looks and feels light. It doesn’t weigh the book down.

I personally use this reading light to read to my son before bed. It is known that it is best to have a low light environment before bed to sleep quicker and better. So, having the bedroom light off and the reading light on, is ideal environment. The light is perfect. Honestly can’t fault it so far. The design is very simple and elegant. The light has three different tone, from warm white to bright white. Every setting can be dimmed down or brightened up to max. It can be tilted down and turns left and right. The area coverage is excellent. In most cases, there’s no need to turn the light left or right. The battery is rechargeable and it has usb c. Another major plus. Can’t say how long the battery last. I’ve used it for 4 days now, 15 minutes each time. Battery still going. It has also encouraged my son to read at night. He gets excited to read because of it.

I've had book lights in the past but this one is by far the best I've used. It's lightweight, has a nice slim design and the aqua colour is very pretty. The fold out clip on the bottom is nice and long and will grab a decent chunk of pages so it's well anchored to your reading material. There is a wide range of angle that it opens up to and the little head at the top can also be angled as well as swiveled side to side which is a really nice feature. I was worried it might not shed enough light when reading something larger than a standard paperback novel, but it seems to work just fine as the angle the light is shed is quite wide. I really like the option for different light temperatures and high degree of control over the brightness, that coupled with the flexibility make this an excellent book light. When it arrived there was no charge in it and initial charge too approx. 45 mins. as for how long a charge lasts I will have to come back and update this review when it runs down, the spec states up to 80 hours.

86lux Reading Ligh - I like the way it looks, very professional, thanks to the clip-on can be attached to books and other objects. I like that it has different colour temperature, I prefer the warm light and that there are three brightness modes, low, medium and high. You can also adjust the brightness by long pressing on the light button. You can easily recharge via the USB C to USB A included cable. It charges fast and it lasts a decent amount of time.
