This cream is truly gentle and healing for a compromised skin barrier. I prefer this cream in the winter, when the weather is dry, and after procedures like microneedling or laser. It has never irritated my skin, and does soothe and heal. The La Roche Posay cicalfate cream is also excellent, I think it is slightly less rich, so I prefer that in humidity or the summer.

Loved this for pregnancy stretch marks
Thick, luscious, unscented cream that I credit with helping to prevent stretch marks (as a part of a skincare regimen) in my last pregnancy. A little small for the price, but effective.

Favorite Line is Avene
Avene is my absolute favorite product for skin care. I randomly found it on a thread and I was so exhausted with trying things for dry skin and this truly works the best.

Helped my skin heal after Co2 laser
***For the reviewers saying there’s no safety seal on this product, I shared your concerns… but was able to verify Avene does not have a safety seal on this one. I drove over to my local Walgreens where they keep it under lock&key due to theft, and was able to compare the boxes, and open the exact same product… no safety seal.*** I bought this to use after I had Co2 laser on my face, neck & chest. I found it pleasant, with a light smell, easily spreads and absorbs without leaving a greasy residue. It’s definitely been helpful to my recovery and it costs 1/4 of what other “post-treatment” products on the market charge.

Feels good on the skin not greasy
Very nice product very concentrated has a very light fragrance that dissipates very quickly not greasy. No I do not have any redness or sensitivity I wanted to try this product anyway because I'm always looking for moderately priced good quality that travels well. And this fit the bill especially with it being on sale.
