SRAM GX Eagle 12-Speed Chain 126 Links with PowerLock, Silver/Gray, Solid Pin

Get another great product by SRAM, durable, smooth, and easy to adjust. All my Sram chains have stood the test of time, and have never let me down.

The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed chain looks just like the 11-speed chain, but slightly narrower in thickness to fit the cog spacing of a 12-speed cassette. Compared to Shimano chains, I'm glad that SRAM uses a Powerlink connector for easy, tool-free installation (after you cut the chain to the correct size for your bike). The GX Eagle 12-speed chain runs pretty quiet, even when shifting up and down through the gears. Actual chain weight was comparable to my 11-speed chain. So far I've had no issues with this chain as part of the GX Eagle group set I installed. NOTE: I purchased the GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur, XG-1275 GX Eagle 12-speed cassette, GX Eagle 12-speed trigger shifter, and GX-Eagle 12-speed chain. The next portion of text will be repeated in my reviews for the other items as well) Coming from an 11-speed setup, and I can't tell you how big of an improvement/upgrade it was! For the price of entry (about $375 for the groupset, minus the cranks) the entire GX Eagle system works so well, it feels just like the X01 Eagle system but without the gold bling and more importantly - at a very affordable price point. Shifting is crisp and satisfying. Drive train noise is actually surprisingly quiet. Thanks to the wide range of gears (and the 50t cog!) I can tackle more climbs for longer time periods with less effort. I'm completely happy that I made this upgrade to GX Eagle, looks like SRAM has made 12-speed both reliable and wallet friendly. I wish I had this group set a long time ago!

I changed the chain that came with the bike at 2500 miles. This gravel bike is used mostly on the road but in damp and dirty conditions. The only challenge is being sure you order the right chain for your group set but it was easy for me to find someone to ask.

Running this on my eMTB, and so far it’s handled it with no problems. There’s a lot of torque put on a chain of an electric MTB, especially those with mid drive motors. Shifting has also been good with my 12 speed SRAM Eagle drive train. Thumbs up!

The GX chain straight out the box to bike was awesome, to be honest I don't think I noticed chain slack until I took my bike into LBS, where they suggested I replace my chain (after about 1.500-2,000 miles of W&T but you know how finicky they want you to haul your ride) think I rode about 500-750 more miles on it before opting for X01 chain
