KILZ TRIBUTE Paint & Primer, Interior, Semi-Gloss, Deep Onyx, 1 Gallon

Initially I was a tad worried that the gray I had opted for was far more of a greige than an icier gray, but I talked myself out of being hesitant and went with it. The issue I think is that my 1970s built condo unit came into being at the height of tan wall (like the bandaid color) mania and it (the color of the walls I was trying to cover) was so overpowering as to skew my sense of color entirely. The gray is a gray. A nice one at that. I painted the hallway and then its ceiling as well as I was so into it. I wish I could paint the world with it, it’s a lovely color.

Kilz brand paint is the absolute best! I got the Tribute interior semi-gloss. The paint is thick so I only need to paint once to get good coverage. (If I were covering a dark color, it might take two). I bought Benjamin Moore at a higher price and it was so thin, I’m not sure even two coats would’ve worked. I used Kilz interior paint on my whole house back in 2008 and it has been fantastic. Nothing but the highest of praise for this brand. I just wish there were more color options, only complaint.

I love coverage and quality of this paint. I've used several colors and sheens of this product with great success. However, one of the colors isn't available and not available through other outlets. Insert sad face.

This paint covers well and having used alot of different house paints I feel I can say it's good quality.I did not use a primer and still had some old discoloration on kitchen walls after washing that had not been painted for quite a few years and were stained in places. Depending on how thick you apply it when trimming with brush or rolling may need 2 coats or spot painting in places. I am disapointed that the way the color looks on my chromebook screen is not the color it looks like on the walls. It is very bright white on my plaster walls.There is no soft mauvish tint or tone of color like it looks on computer.I was going to stop painting and buy another color when I saw how white it was but decided to paint the whole room and see what I thought. It changed the room so much and brightened it so I am ok with it.It is definately bright white.

This is the best paint I have ever used. It goes on so smooth, gives a professional look finish and easy to clean up. You get your money’s worth on this product.

Paint primer covered the stains. Had to put on 2 coats. Used on bathroom ceiling Held up well. No beading

This is an update. The paint is unusable as the half of the content of the can seeped out of the can, and the plastic bag it came in. whis is imposible to work with as I cannot control the flow out of the bag into the pan for roller use.. this is such a dissapointment.. love the color but packaging sucks. this was the second/repeated order.. first time the shipment must have leaked totally.. what a mess. Buy direcly in the store.
