These brushes put the saw back in operation.
These brushes fit perfectly and worked as they should. My DeWalt miter saw is back in operation and working as it should.

Perfect fit
Put theses in my 25 year old dewalt 12" miter saw to replace older ones

Couldn't get a better buy.
This fit perfectly, were delivered quickly, and I'm all-around pleased.

They work, but aren't the perfect size
While these do work in my Dewalt 750 miter box, they didn't on the first try. They are just a bit too wide and I had to sand them slightly to make them slide in the socket on the saw. Since it's carbon, it only took a couple strokes on a piece of 80 grit sandpaper. Once I did that, they worked fine.

Saved
Motor brake had become intermittent. Saw finally quit working. I looked at brushes and there was about a 1/4" left . Switch seemed ok so I replaced the brushes and the saw came to life again. Saved

Worked like a champ in a DeWalt DW705 chop saw.
Only caveat is that the original part that was installed in the saw does not have a metal rectangular 'keeper' on it, which i suspect is a safety measure to prevent the spring from entering the motor aperture once the carbon has worn down. Luckily, we were able to determine the difference between the OEM part and these replacement by still having a half worn down 2nd OEM brush in the saw and seeing its design. That said, the replacement parts were easily installed and the chop saw works like new for a 10 dollar bill on parts. :)

Exact Replacement But DO NOT Fix Auto-Brake Issue
I noticed the motor-activated blade brake was no longer working like it used to. It kind of slows the blade down but doesn't stop it like it used to. I saw some had success with replacing the brushes. I thought for $6 I'd try it. They replace in about 5 minutes or less. The replacement made zero change, the saw runs exactly like it did before they were replaced. If yours are not that worn as mine were, this may not be worth it for your blade brake.

Rejuvenated My Mitre Saw
The motor brushes fit my Dewalt (DW705) Mitre Saw perfectly. The old ones were worn down to less than 1/4". My saw runs like new again. Delivery was prompt.

Got it fast, but contrary to the description of “2 packs”, it is but one “set” of brushes in one pack.
