It was amazing the difference the heat shield made with my Studebaker inline six in my 1948 Willy’s jeep. I installed a Holley Sniper Fab one barrel EfI system and the engine exhaust heat was knocking out the fuel pump control system. After installing the heat shield the Holley system works perfectly!

Great forming ability! Used this product to create a heat shield between my 440 HP exhaust manifold and my powder coated valve cover to protect the powder coating, to be honest, I haven’t run the engine yet but this same style of product is used all over new cars, so I have no doubt it will do what it is supposed to. Lets not forget, this is not an insulating blanket, it stops radiant heat and that’s it, an air gap is needed for this product to do its job. The only thing I would like to see is maybe a .005” thicker option and maybe some universal style tabs available to mount this product, but hey, people in hades would like some ice water!

So this heat shield is a bit thinner than another brand offered on Amazon, which may be good for your uses, but I personally would rather have the thicker version. Ordered this one in a pinch as it had next day shipping, and it does the job.

Easy to use and cut with sizzors. Easily bendable and holds its shape. Most importantly it sheilds heat very well. My fuel bowls were boiling in 80+ degree heat when in traffic and this was what finally fixed the issue. I separated the header from carbs and no more bubbles in my fuel filter 👍

Dicent for the price

I used this to create a heat shield for a Chinese mini excavator to surround the muffler. Seems to be functioning as it should . Was easy to fold and form exactly the way I imagined. I’d say it is an excellent value. I used aluminum duct tape to seal where the folds overlapped and it adhered well.

Works perfectly and easy to modify

This product worked very well to fabricate a new heat for my steering assembly Will buy again. Good value and seems close to original OEM shielding Follow up review: The other heat shields on my Volvo required me to double up and triple fold the product to get the thickness and subsequent protection needed. The material is on the thin side
