PetSafe Balcony Netting - Stairway Net for Pets & Kids, Clear (10ft*2.6ft Thick)

This balcony netting solved a problem for me with unexpected ease. I wanted to allow my cat on my deck with me, but she invariably jumped off of it in pursuit of some interesting goal, leading me to run around the house and chase her down. I tied on the netting, and voila, problem gone. It was easy to tie it to the deck railings. The white color is less obtrusive than one would think. The cat can still see through it, though not as well, and I often catch her peeking under it. Note that this works only because the top railing is rounded. If it were flat, kitty would sitll be jumping up and off. And the bottom clearance is 3". Any more, and she could be under it as well. It has held up well in the couple of months I've had it - it has not gotten dirty at all, to my surprise. I have seen comments that the fabric ties do not last, but so far mine have, and the maker supplied zip ties as well in case that happens. The maker supplied more ties than is needed in case replacements are desired.

I used it on my deck to keep my puppy from sliding through the spindles, yes she's that small. It was relatively easy with cable ties, to install. The cloth ties were not long enough. the netting is fantastic to put on a straight rail but rather difficult to place on stairs, of which I do have on the deck, but we managed to make it work.

I purchased the net to provide a clean, clear and safe environment for my cat to sit on the apartment patio with me for my morning coffee. It was easy to install and looked great for thirty days. The net itself is still intact but the tie downs provided dissolved in 30 days or less in the Albuquerque heat. It was not in direct sun or weather so I’m not sure why all of them eventual broke. Reinstalling with zip ties has been successful so I do recommend purchasing your own tie downs to install. Would recommend with modifications.

Fur-tunately stumbled upon this balcony netting when our little furball turned into an escape artist! This netting is the leash we never knew we needed. We paw-sitively love how it keeps our pup safe and sound on our balcony and stairway. No more ruff moments worrying about our furry friend slipping through! It's a real treat for pet parents and a bark-tastic investment for a growing puppy's safety. Highly recommended for a pawsitive peace of mind! 🐾

Easy to install and works wonderfully

This did not fit my banister well and didn't function the way I wanted it to. It left large awkward gaps where my cat could get through and it looked bad.

The netting doesn’t hold at the bottom; making it easy for small animal like a cat to slip under.

This mesh comes with 2 type of ribbon to tie it together One plastic and one made of soft material I would advice to purchase extra plastic ribbon because the soft cotton material ribbon dissolves with time and it doesn’t hold the mesh together
