Works great
I purchased this charger to use in a phone mount I was making for my vehicle. It was very slim and fit very well inside my design. CAUTION: The alignment of the device you are charging is crucial. On my galaxy s20 ultra there was little margin for error with the alignment. It's just the nature of a small single coil charger like this one. It works great and I intend to buy a few more to make chargers for my other car and desk at work.

Saving money saving money
Installed it on my phone that I broke to retreat retrieve the data that was on it it worked fine unfortunately the screen on the phone was smashed so bad that the phone wasn't of use. Bought the product just to retrieve the information worked great for my purposes.

Underpowered and hard to keep connected
Read all the reviews here and thought I'd take a chance. Unfortunately, the unit I received has a very hard time staying connected to my Galaxy 8. Before I installed it into my home-made stand I placed the coil plate directly on the phone (to find out where the phone's charge plate is). I moved it around until the blue "charging" indicator lit. It was very sensitive to where it was placed, a mm or two away from optimal location and it would not "charge". Even when locating the charge plate correctly, the unit would start charging and then stop, then charge, then stop, etc. etc. I did get it to stay in the charge mode once, so I proceeded with the install. So, got the unit installed in my stand, placed the phone on the stand (the coils are touching the back of the phone) and moved the phone until the blue led lit. Again, did the same start and stop (the phone went crazy with the audio notifications!) Finally found the sweet spot. Left it overnight and found that for 10 hours of charging the battery only went up by 10% (53 to 63%). Did the same the next night and the phone had less charge than when it started! My wife told me it was an entertaining light show, with the blue LED dimming down, brightening and then doing it again. So, would I recommend this? NO.

Works, but...
Nicely packaged, very basic setup, and works well. The backplate on the coil is very fragile, so handle it with care. And how long will it last? Nobody knows for sure, but mine is still going strong. It sits on my bedside table, plugged in full time, and charges my iPhone every night. I had some issues with it dropping in and out, but it turned out to be a USB power adapter that wasn't up to snuff. Be sure to use a properly-rated USB adapter! This thing also gets pretty hot while charging (thus the four stars), but so far it hasn't caused a problem.

Make any surface a charging surface
Works great. Pretty cheap.

Cheap product, cheap quality. Be gentle, don't expect much.
Pros: -Works -No extra bs Cons: -I was able to break the plate with 2 fingers. -If the phone isn't with 3mm centered, it won't work. Even if the plate is directly on the back of the phone, no case. -I have 4 different phones I tested, none were able to charge above 1000mah. -I built it into my computer desk, it works good enough at 400-500 mAh through 2mm of plywood and a case on the phone. But you have to position it so carefully.

A potentially very useful product
I bought this with the intention of sticking it to the phone holder in my car. It starts out with a small current draw, then increases to about an amp. It wonโt be the fastest charger I have, but the convenience factor of making my preferred holder wirelessโฆโฆ

Works well through 1/8" plywood
I got two of these to power up a tablet stand I made on the engraver. 1/8" walnut plywood with one of these on the back worked very well.

Well packaged, seems to work well.
This charging coil came well packaged with the brittle bits wrapped in thick foam. I had a work colleague help me resolder it as I needed to pass the wires through a hole in the base for my project. He said it was probably silver solder as it had a much higher melt point, if that's worth anything to anyone. I will be encasing this in epoxy as part of my DIY monitor riser for my office. I don't know if the epoxy will hinder the signal at all, but with nothing but air between the phone and the coil, it picks up power about a half an inch away. Lights all work. The only possible concern is that it initially made a high pitched noise when I plugged it in. It hasn't done it again, so maybe it was a faulty cord? Anyway, it works great. Recommended.

Works great for DIY
Iโm currently using this to wirelessly charge my keyboard that has a wireless charging acceptor taped to the bottom. I carved it into some foam and put a mat on top of it and it is able to charge through all of this with no issues. It gets slightly hot but not hot enough to be concerning or start a fire. Itโs a good cheap option for DIY projects and works reliably

It does not work
The device powers on, the lights come on but it does not charge. I have tried it on different models of iphone older and the latest (without the case) and it did not detect the wireless charger or vice-versa. I have tried different power sources as well, multiple workstation, and UPS (battery supplied), along with an USB electrical outlet, and had no luck. Simply does not work

Just As Advertised
I've used this to build a phone charger into my desk top by routing out a cavity from below the surface. Now I simply place my phone down on desk right above the coil and it charges. I have full access to the phone while it's charging and no fussing with cables or a charger stand on the desk.

works, but is slow
All parts worked flawlessly (until i accidently desoldered the blue LED) but it heats up a lot and it is pretty slow. personally, i would look for a faster one. this might have just been my 5V supply circuit however in which case. this thing even works at lower amperages which is nice.
