This “On Air” sign is such a fun and functional addition to my workspace. The light is bright and easy to see without being harsh, and it instantly makes my setup feel more professional and intentional. I use this for my home podcast and creative recording space, and it’s perfect for letting everyone know when I’m recording. It helps minimize interruptions and sets the tone for focused work. Excellent product! It meets expectations and gives your setup an excellent look. Keep in mind that it operates with external batteries, as it does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. It can also work with a phone charger — the cable is included, but the charger is not.

So far, it's exactly as advertised. Bright and attention-getting, but not headache-inducing. It works from a nearby room. The remote does NOT have to be pointed at it. I was worried that you'd have to be in the same room like many infrared TV remotes. That would completely defeat the purpose for me. And I was pleased to find out that is not the case. So this must be an RF remote, not IR, which is what you would want in this case. The lighted sign is just the right size. I haven't tried it with batteries because that also seems to defeat the purpose. You can plug it into an old USB wall wart, which is nice. I have some of those that I don't use for my phone anymore because they're so slow. But they work fine for this! Bonus!

My wife does voice-over work in her in-house studio. This is a fun sign to let us know when she's working. Great battery life, bright, and a great look for her studio.

I mean, it's uncomplicated. It's an ON AIR light, if you need a working ON AIR light, this will do the trick. But the one I received has a spot to put batteries, and I put in a set of fresh batteries and it didn't work. The included cable is USB and not very long. Luckily I only needed it for the top of my computer, so I can make it work, but if you're thinking you can hang this on your wall, then you're probably gonna need to settle for a visible cable that you're also likely gonna need to buy yourself.

It's a perfect match for my home studio. Added this to my mixerboard so people know when to keep their mouth shut when the mic is hot.
