Great stuff!
made some excellent filters with this. wish all OEM filters were made of this stuff. The filtration of the fine product is excellent and it will save your engine in dusty conditions. It prevents the entry of sand and dust into your engine so it doesn't grind your piston rings into powder, and can lengthen your engine life to easily 300K miles if you use it along with Mobil One Synthetic Oils. You can wash and reuse it several times. Do that every 20K miles or less. you can make different shapes and glue it together to make round air cleaner filter covers. once you put it on over your round style filter, the paper never gets dirty. on flat style filters you just tale out the filter, cut a piece to fit under the paper filter with a pair of scissors, and put the paper filter back in on top of it and away you go. Some filters don't have enough room for the foam to fit under or around without blocking the air passageways pretty badly, and this will cause a check engine light when the oxygen sensor causes the fuel map to go out of range. In this case you might need to make an external housing or mount it in a different way. BUT it is still a great product!

Uni Filter BF1 12" X 16" X 5/8" 65-PPI Green Fine Foam
This Uni Filter green foam material worked perfectly to make a new air filter for my portable generator. Unfortunately, the generator manufacturer is no longer in business and the engine parts are also no longer available. The original foam air filter was approximately 1-1/4" thick, so I just doubled up on this 5/8" thick material using two layers which made for a nice fit. A few minutes with a pair of scissors and a gasket punch set had the generator humming along good as new again. I still have enough left over to make several more filters so should be set for a few seasons. Overall, I've found this to be a very good foam filter material at a decent price and am very happy with it so would have no problem recommending it.

Excellent generic air filter replacement - Cut your own to size
Turns out nobody makes an air filter for my generator anymore, so this Unifilter generic foam was perfect. Just measured the filter opening and cut me a new filter out of this stock. You might want to order a spray can of filter oil to go along with it.

Perfect material for small engine air filters
Recently, due to a major fire resulting in a 3-day power outage, I had to pull out my Kawasaki 3200w generator to keep the refrigerator and freezer in operation. Unfortunately, the foam air filter had disintegrated over time, and the engine was laboring greatly to run. On a hunch, I pulled off the air filter and saw the filter had disintegrated and was clogging the air inlet. Removing the limp remains, the engine immediately jumped to life and ran like new. Unfortunately, Kawasaki has abandoned all those who bought these generators. We are unable to purchase filters or any parts whatsoever. Luckily the Uni Filter foam material was the correct thickness to fit -- I cut it to size and it actually looked and fit factory perfect. The UNI Filter material was perfect for making replacement air filters, so I bought a second package as a reserve source in case another surprise failure among my stable full of motorcycles, mower, snow-thrower, and other equipment utilizing similar foam/oil air filters.

Great to make discontinued filters
Have a 30 year old Tanaka. The filter in it was OK till I replaced the primmer bulb. It had to be removed to get to screws. It basically dissolved to dust when I tried to remove. This sheet of filter material allowed me to make a replacement for that filter with 90% or more of sheet left to use in future. Can make quite a few of that filter if needed.

A little denser than a prefillter.
It's about 5/16 thick and easy to cut.I use it for discontinued chainsaw air filters.

I am happy with the product. The quality is great and the shipping was fast, it worked perfectly for my 40 year old motorcycle. There was enough to make 3 air filters. ๐๐

Bought it for my motorcycle to replace the original paper filter. Cut it to shape but haven't installed yet as I'm waiting for my paper filter to get a bit dirtier before switching over, but the foam seems to be of great quality! I think it will definitely help my engine filter better with a good foam oil.
