Loved this book for Halloween. Super cute and funny book to read to little ones around Halloween. Impressed with quality and storyline.

Such a cute story!

I used this book in pediatric speech therapy for 20 years. It’s a really fun and entertaining book with a message of kindness that we surely can use. Little Oscar wears the costume his mother makes for him so as not to hurt her feelings although he is chagrined to do so. He does the right thing even though his friends were not nice to him. Oscar is recognized as the hero of the day at the end. I am retired and had given my book away but I miss reading it at Halloween so bought another copy. It’s a keeper.

This has been my son’s favorite book since he was about 2 and he’s 4 now and still loves it!

Great story, students loved it! Has lots of great activities to go a long with it that you can do separately.

Used this book for Book-O-Ween at school to read for kindergarten through 2nd grade. The book itself is super funny and cute, but that age group from 4-8 does not find it funny and it was complete silence the three times I read it to a large group. Most of the jokes went right over their head and they got a bit bored. You'll need to sit down one on one with children at that age to explain the jokes.

I read this book to my daughter when she was little and of all her books this was one I kept. My daughter is a girl mom now and I read this to my 3 year old granddaughter while she was here visiting, she to loved this book and wanted it read to her every night. Once they returned home my granddaughter wanted her mom to read it to her, so of course Gigi had to order one for her story times! Cute story about bullying with a very happy ending!

Great short story. My son is a Dav Pilkey fan so enjoys all of this authors books. My son is 6.

Was my favorite book growing up! So happy I could get it for my kid.

This was the first book I owned as a child and I absolutely love it. Brings back one of the rare happy memories I have from my childhood
